iPad Pro 2018 version charging problem

by Poster Jan 10, 2024 7
Recently, this machine can only be charged with a mobile power supply and a monitor with a typeC interface (HDMI). You cannot use the power adapter to charge (including Apple's original charger and cable). I went to the Apple store for consultation and testing. The Apple store determined that the USB port of my iPad was flooded. I'm speechless. Any V friends who have encountered similar problems?

Those generations have design flaws, and the c port is prone to problems

Just change the base, sometimes the temperature difference is large and the water vapor condenses

Maybe the c port is about to hang up

The c port of the 18-year-old pro is easy to hang. If it is out of warranty, go to a third party to replace the tail plug to prevent the machine from burning. If it is out of warranty, go to Apple to replace it

The official repair of iPad is to replace the refurbished machine directly, so it is expensive. There is also a solution that does not require maintenance. Use Magic Keyboard to charge the iPad (there are contacts on the back of the iPad, magnetic charging), that is, Type-C can no longer be used to transmit data in the future.

This generation is like this. There is no solution to the problem of C port. Let's replace it with a new one.

The 2020 model I bought couldn't be charged at the charging port a few days after the warranty expired in 2022. Later, I helped get a new phone
