The mini6 screen is yellow!

by Poster Apr 8, 2024 21
Let me ask you a question, why does the screen of the newly bought iPad Mini 6 feel yellow and red compared with the mobile phone? (It's okay from the front, but it will be more obvious if you look at it from the side) I still have this problem after the original color is turned off. I asked the customer service and said it was normal and there was a "warm and cold screen" Is this normal (I don't know how to make it directly display the picture QAQ) https://imgur.com/a/bPqpXwT

I don't know if it's normal or not. It seems that the cooling and heating screens have been around for seven or eight years, and all kinds of equipment are available. Anyway, I don't think it matters, because I don't do pictures or anything. If you feel unhappy, if you happen to buy it in the Apple Store, you should be able to return it or exchange it for no reason. Other channels are unclear.

Normal, LCD and OLED are incomparable

The screen of my iPad mini6 is much whiter than that of my iPhone. Is there a difference in the physique of the screen?

It is obvious that the screen is oxidized, which is irreversible.

@ Anonymous11005 Okay, just be normal

@ Anonymous114 I don't care, but I want to know if this is a quality problem. If so, I won't buy something from JD.COM next time I buy something. At present, it should be normal ~

The screen of mini6 is already very poor, and it is normal to have strange problems. In the mini5 era, there is also a yin-yang screen, and the brightness of each area is different against a pure white background

@ Anonymous3946 Will the new one be oxidized? Is it sold to me second-hand? QAQ

The 2-year-old mini6 test showed that there was no yellowing.

Normally, there are various problems with this screen, as long as it does not affect the experience

    My air is also yellow

I don't understand the quality control of apple and the quality of Genius Bar later

@ Poster # 8 Theoretically not. My iPad pro took 5 years before it turned yellow. If it was officially bought, it can be returned or exchanged directly.

@ Anonymous3946 JD.COM's activation can't be returned or exchanged. Alas, this is the only way to go. Next time, it's official website. It does not affect the use

After looking at it, I don't feel yellow, but I still can't tell this kind of thing clearly. I just can't see anything from a photo? If you really want to be confused, you can buy a color calibrator to measure the color temperature and compare (bushi

@ Anonymous2683 This is unnecessary 🤣, it just feels that the two devices look and feel much different to the naked eye, as long as it is a normal situation, I am afraid of buying a faulty device

It's normal. The mini6 screen sucks anyway.

The warm and cold screen felt it a long time ago when I bought the iPhoneX with my friends. When I first got it and changed the settings together, I found that my "white" was obviously more "blue" than my friend's, but I couldn't feel it in daily use. I had to compare it together to feel it. OP, your "yellow" situation should be similar.

Is it often exposed to sunlight. There is a saying that long-term sun exposure makes the screen aging worse. I haven't seen a yellow screen used normally
