An old iPad in 2019, will it freeze when updating to the latest system?

2019 model, iPad 7th generation, 10.2 inches, the current system is 13.6 (this is the system from the factory), but the TV at home is always occupied by my wife and children, and I can only watch it on my mobile phone.
Now I want to use infuse on the ipad to watch American TV series, but only the latest version of infuse can connect to Alibaba Cloud Disk (the old system can only download the old version of infuse), so I can only update the system.
My question is, if I update my ipad's system to the latest, will it get stuck?

Poster Apr 26, 2024Finally, I honestly upgraded to the latest system of 17.4. It's smoother than I expected, except for a little stuck in some cases. Anyway, it's good.
