Love recycling these recycling shops, what's the use of collecting the ancient apple watch?

I switched to an Android phone, and the old apple watch was eliminated for my wife.
My wife's apple watch was sold to Aihuishou, a 4th generation GPS. The recycling price was quoted online at 300, but it was cut to 240 in the store. I agreed.
Now that the apple watch has reached the 9th generation, what can they do by recycling the 4th generation?
Another thing I can't figure out is that when I evaluated on my mobile phone, I chose the Bank of China quoted 285, and other quoted 300. I happened to buy it for the first time while traveling in Japan, so I valued it at 300. For the first time, I found that the Bank of China quoted low.

Although the battery can be replaced with a non-original one, the old model may be stuck/slow to use (the chip is relatively old), and the experience should not be good. I suspect it was disposed of as a disassembly part.
