iPad Pro 2024 is actually compatible with the old Magic Keyboard

It turns out that Apple deliberately switched the magnetic poles of the magnets so that the old Magic Keyboard could not fit on the new iPad Pro [[Magic Keyboard does not need to be changed] ipadpro2024 users save 2800!] https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1hb421q79Q/

When it was first released, I guessed that a protective case (or magnetic backplane) could be used as an adapter to make the new iPad compatible with the old Magic Keyboard. Anyway, it's just that the thickness is different from the arrangement of magnets. As long as some magnets are added to the protective shell (back plate), the new model is thinner in thickness and has completely room for the shell.

If it's an all-inclusive case, I even think it's possible to add magnets to the side to make the new iPad Pro compatible with the older Apple Pencil 2. But Apple may have blocked the compatibility of the older Apple Pencil 2 software, which is annoying 😠

It is not environmentally friendly at all, and the pen is forced not to support old models.

It is recommended that Apple release an official all-inclusive case for iPad Pro, which adds back and side magnets, and is compatible with old keyboards and pens, so that you can not only make money from the case but also have a reputation for environmental protection (dream

Don't dare to spray, leave it downstairs to play.

The same is true for the protective case. The air case can actually be used with the pro, but part of the camera opening is deliberately opened to make a single camera, making the pro unusable. In the past, at least the pro cover could be used by air, but the new pro has changed the magnet structure, resulting in the new pro cover cannot be used by air and the previous pro, nor can the previous pro cover be used.

@ Anonymous12692 shell is only a few dollars, it must be a new keyboard and a new pen to make money

The next incompatibility is the old Apple Watch strap

Also, the A13 iPad without suffix can use the Smart Keyboard of my second-generation 12.9 iPad Pro. The contacts can be matched, and it works completely normally except for the painful problem that the size does not match at all

Apple is not environmentally friendly, and it needs more money to open the mold. It's better to shake hands with the protocol when connecting in the future. If the version is wrong, you won't be able to connect, so you don't have to change the magnetic poles so troublesome

@ Anonymous7729 Personally, I don't think the strap is nothing, it's been 10 years, and it's good to change the design

Just change the agreement, why change the magnet, isn't it stupid?

Roger that, the next firmware version will fix compatibility issues with older keyboards.
