Can iPad Pro 12.9 M1 do main video editing?

Recently, I fell in love with aerial photography and found it quite convenient to cut videos with an ipad; One is that you can export videos from the plane to the ipad by fast transmission, and then some editing and effects software support the ipad, such as gyroflow, clipping, etc., and the M1 processing effect is quite fast. I don't know if some special effects can be done with an iPad, such as AE. The disadvantage is that it is a bit heavy, and the battery life of the m1 is not very good, so it is probably inconvenient to use outside; Have you ever used an ipad as a video cutter?

I used the 11-inch M1 ipad pro to cut 3 relatively large-scale films (about 20-40G material), and the 13-inch M4 to cut half a large film (120G material, the imported project was cut half), luma fusion. If you are in no hurry, but you just think that holding a screen without a keyboard and dragging and cutting some movies for self-entertainment is in line with expectations, then you can. It's best not to choose 12.9, because the flexibility of holding it for a long time is limited, and the M1's mini led heating and battery life are quite annoying. If you are interested in efficiency and hands-on, and if inspiration and ideas can't be realized quickly, and it's easy to get crazy about it, you'd better use a computer to cut them honestly.

Lying at home or on the hotel sofa and bed, pick up the iPad and cut it. This purpose can be used as the main force. Forget about the other scenes. In addition, iPadOS's Da Vinci studio and fcpx have to charge separately, and final cut is still subscription-based.

There are free cuts, and some charges are basically the full version of Da Vinci (you can turn on it by setting it yourself) and lumafusion. The ipad version of Final Cut is subscription-based. At present, it is the lightest and most efficient hdr monitoring device except oled ipad. I'm using the 1t sim version of 12.9 m1. It can be used as a monitor, can be easily edited, can be used as a reference for color matching, can be displayed as a film for Party A, and can also be an easy-to-use large car navigation screen. However, my main editing is Final Cut for Mac, and I have been used to it for so many years

With Da Vinci, editing is fine. But iPad has almost no heat dissipation, which affects usage

When traveling, with lumafusion, you can barely use it. If you come up with that kind of special effects that blind your eyes, it's a Mac.
