Why didn't JD.com and Xianyu adapt to the horizontal screen of iPad?

I saw some old screenshots. JD.com had a special HD version, but it was cancelled later. I just discovered a few days ago that Huawei tablets have parallel vision function, which can forcibly save the Android tablet ecosystem, and the experience seems to be good.
But isn't it easy for iPadOS to adapt to a horizontal screen? Why don't JD.com and Xianyu do this? I hope the client boss can answer it. After all, Taobao App has specially adapted to the horizontal interface.
