Is it a bit of a loss to buy s9 now?

As mentioned in the title, I want to buy watch recently. It is definitely impossible to buy it at the original price. However, judging from the idle fish, most of the prices are also 2,000. I think it's still a bit expensive. I'm struggling whether to wait for X to come out or buy an s9.
