The iPad Air + Pencil Pro is a bit stuck

On Apple's website, I bought a new iPad Air and delivered a pen. Writing in GoodNote, whether it is Chinese or English, doesn't feel very easy. How to describe it... For example, the letter u can be made similar to the letter v. I also have an iPad Pro 12.9-inch to send away, and I also have a matching pen. It's much smoother to write on that. Write it all the way I'm going to write it.... For example, the handwritten letter u is what I write on paper, and it won't look like the letter v. The newly purchased iPad Air will feel hot after using GoodNote for a minute or two. The degree of heat generation is equivalent to that of old equipment. I want to ask everyone, Are iPads with M chips easy to heat up? Does the stylus also have the problem that it doesn't follow the hand?

It may be a screen problem, OLED iPad is not hot

    Problems with the refresh rate?

Do you think the card is most likely a refresh rate problem, and not following your hands will indeed lead to ugly writing (writing on the screen takes a while to get used to, and when you are unfamiliar with it, it depends a bit on visual feedback) It should not be hot. The OLED iPad Pro is not hot. Even the previous Mini LED iPad Pro will not be hot just because of writing. Probably the new machine is rebuilding some index? It's a classic question

I'm afraid your pen is not an original Apple pen. The third-party compatible pen has two working modes, ipados pairing and bluetooth universal mode. Bluetooth universal mode handwriting will get stuck

The refresh rate of 60hz is not that easy

The refresh rate problem is relatively big

After using the high brush rate of 12.9, you will obviously not follow the electronic waste of air

@ Anonymous2243 There's absolutely no way it's a problem with the refresh. I have used different pens on the a14 air4 and m2 ipad pro. Generally, there is not much difference in writing

Has the film been applied? Have you considered the influence of the film?

I purchased the iPad Air at Apple's site through an education offer, with a pen included. This iPad Air, placed horizontally on the table, has a fingerprint sensor in the direction of the left index finger. When using GoodNote, you will feel that the palm of your right hand is heated; Not the whole screen will be hot. My previous two iPads were both 12.9 inches. I have never had the problem of feeling that writing doesn't follow my hands. I have contacted Apple by phone today to return the goods. Why contact me by phone? Because I didn't understand, click Return on the webpage, whether the pen is included. I need to return it all. I will put a sticker on the back of the iPad, there will be no case, or screen film. I tried it again on an old 12.9-inch iPad, and the writing was normal; Comparatively speaking, in the new iPad Air, it doesn't feel like it's hands. I'm more inclined to think it's a screen refresh problem. Why get a new iPad? I just feel that the 12.9-inch size is a bit big and inconvenient to pick up with one hand. In view of the obvious difference in writing experience, I finally chose to return the goods and continue to use the old equipment. @ Anonymous907 @ Anonymous994 @ Anonymous2907 Thank you for participating in the discussion.

You can go to the apple store and write on air and pro respectively to see if you can reproduce the situation of not following only on air

Supplementary update. I pulled out another iPad mini5 and the first generation Apple pen, which is the pen that is directly plugged into the iPad for charging. Use the Note that comes with the system to write, and there is no situation of not following your hands; There is no such thing as the letter U becoming the letter V. I also specially installed GoodNote on my iPad mini5. The writing is very smooth, and compared with the iPad Pro 12.9 in my hand, there is no obvious difference. The iPad Pro 12.9 is the fourth generation. Therefore, @ Anonymous452's statement is more realistic and is not a matter of refresh rate. I also went to the showroom of an Apple authorized dealer to try it, and there were no problems such as lag, fever, difficulty in writing text, or letter deformation, such as no reproduction of U to V. The font is ugly and badly deformed, and only appears on my newly bought iPad Air device. Not only do I feel that the writing is seriously deformed, but my family also feels, why doesn't this thing look like your handwriting on the new device? It's too exaggerated. So, I boil down to at least one problem with the iPad Air + pen I purchased. However, it has been returned and cannot be put on the table. The three devices took a video of writing deformation together to share this matter. There is no Apple store in my area. If I take it to an authorized dealership, they won't talk to me. Thank you again for providing the necessary reference information.
