Inaccurate sleep detection after WatchOS11 update

by Poster Sep 23, 2024 12
Have you ever encountered it? It was very accurate before. If the system is updated, it will not be allowed. It doesn't count if you wake up in the middle of the night and go to the bathroom and then fall asleep.

Neither ultra2 nor watch10 have been encountered under watchos11, and you can continue to monitor sleep even after waking up for 1-2 hours in the middle of the night ultra2 had a short nap that was not recorded (about 25mins), but another long nap was recorded (2h, only awake and sleep were distinguished) The above are all data recorded automatically without turning on sleep mode

My OS11 is very accurate, and I can clearly record the few minutes when I am awake when I go to the toilet.

After the update, it is quite good to detect nap, and I don't feel inaccurate

At present, I think it is quite accurate. In the past, only the sleep mode range was monitored and recorded. After the sleep mode was turned off with the alarm clock, sleeping in was not recorded. Now, naps, naps, continuing to sleep after turning off the alarm clock, or even going to bed early are recorded to

@ Anonymous1716 Why can't I detect naps after my update? Mine is s8. Is it a function only available in new models?

@ Anonymous11893 It shouldn't be. It's normal for me to have a block s6. However, looking at the records, if you don't completely fall asleep after a nap (I sometimes fall asleep listening to podcasts, which is basically half asleep and half awake), there is only sleep time records, and there will be no specific data (deep sleep and other classifications)

@ Anonymous1716 It feels like I have a bug on my card. After my phone is updated to iOS18, I can't even detect the bed-rest event

I've never felt accurate. When I turn on sleep mode, I always think I'm sleeping, but in fact I didn't even sleep

iOS 18 seems to have this problem, and there is no specific data on sleep monitoring after 9.24.

And the bug of two hours of bed time and six hours of sleep co-authored by me sleeping standing up?
