There is a very annoying point about watchOS 11, which made me almost late today.

Let's talk about the scene first. My sleep alarm clock is 8 o'clock. After the alarm clock goes off at 8 o'clock, I will habitually click the later reminder to sleep for another 10 minutes. But there is a problem with this version, that is, after you click the later reminder, a later reminder countdown interface will automatically appear, and then it defaults to the bright screen state, with a big ✖ on the right. According to the last version, I was in a sleep state at this time, and I needed to press and hold to unlock it before I could operate it. But now it is directly unlocked by default, and I have to cover it manually, otherwise if I click on ✖ by mistake, the alarm clock will not ring.

After that, set the alarm back ten minutes and get up at once

Then you set the alarm until 8:10

    @ Anonymous5631 # 1 @ Anonymous3304 # 2 No, habits can't be changed. These 10 minutes are the time to wake up slowly.

Wipe, please reply in a unified way. There is no need to adapt. watchOS11 has added a real-time activity. In the intelligent stack-real-time activity, just turn off the real-time activity of the alarm clock. It seems that you still have to take a closer look at the update log in the future. https://support.apple.com/zh-cn/guide/watch/apdecf142fb9/11.0/watchos/11.0

@ Anonymous2397 # 11 Me, too, today. I only remember that the alarm clock went off, but I didn't press stop. I did an experiment and found out the problem.

Didn't you all press the phone? I just press the lock screen of the phone, and it continued to ring after 10 minutes

    @ Anonymous7812 # 13 still have to find a mobile phone
  • Anonymous1693 Oct 15, 2024
All mobile phones can trigger a later reminder by just pressing a key after the alarm clock rings. It stands to reason that watches should be the same

@ Anonymous1693 # 15 has nothing to do with how to trigger a later reminder
  • Anonymous1716 Oct 15, 2024
Even if the screen is on, it is difficult to trigger

My suggestion is that OP go to bed earlier at night and develop good habits so that it won't habitually rely on later reminders.

OP reminded me, otherwise I will definitely be trapped by this feature one day after the update
