Can Apple care + protect against scratches?

I bought ac + and then used it casually. There were a few scratches on the screen. Then I wanted to spend money to replace it today, but I was told that apple care did not include scratches if it wasn't a broken screen. Isn't this a waste of purchase, or is it forcing me to break the watch?

Anonymous1987 Oct 25, 2024It just needs to be broken. My airpods have been submerged in water before, and the headphones often adjust the volume by themselves. The problem is obvious, but the store says it cannot be detected. Later, I said that there was water before I asked it to go back to the factory for maintenance. Finally replaced it with ac.

Anonymous3421 Oct 25, 2024If it is broken, it is not a complete replacement If ac + has never been used, it can be said that it fell into the water and you want to replace it with a new one

Anonymous10570 Oct 25, 2024In fact, only care that affects normal use, such as broken screen, water ingress, battery bulge, etc., is useful Others want to replace the battery within two years, but the scratches and white spots on the screen are all useful?

Anonymous6697 Oct 25, 2024ac + has been broken domestically, so unless there is a lot of money, it is really unnecessary.

Poster Oct 25, 2024Update: I called customer service. The customer service first said that the scratches are not covered inside the ac +, but it can be replaced for a new one. After I asked for a new one, the customer service said that they would send me a new one to recycle the old one at the same time. However, a replacement process email was sent later, which said that a deposit (the price of the new watch) would be deducted first, and then it would be confirmed whether it meets the warranty. The deposit will be deducted if the conditions are not met. It feels strange. If I return to the factory and tell me that the scratches are not guaranteed, and the new watch sent is not refunded, wouldn't it mean that I spent another sum of money on a brand new watch?

Anonymous12214 Oct 26, 2024@ Poster squat for a follow-up ~ I bought Care + on my iPhone15 and have been using it naked. 1. There are scratches, 2. There are bumps in the frame, and 3. There is still paint peeling off on the rear camera part. I took the machine to a direct store and wanted to pay to change the screen. The clerk told me that scratches and bumps were not within the scope of care +. Pfft ~ This is funny, so why am I running naked?

Anonymous10494 Oct 28, 2024@ Poster # 25 The deposit is the price of a brand new watch, and the deposit will be deducted if the warranty is not met (deduct the deposit of the price of a brand new watch). Don't you charge a service fee of 528 if the ac + of watch is accidentally damaged? If it is broken and flooded, go for repair. You can replace it with a brand new one for 528 ¥.

Poster Oct 28, 2024@ Anonymous10494 I chose to deliver a new one to your door by express delivery and take away the old one. In this case, an additional deposit will be frozen on the basis of 528, which is said to be returned after 10 working days

Anonymous5571 Nov 1, 2024@ Anonymous10808 Huh? Can watch still be like this with ac +?

Poster Nov 1, 2024Update, nothing happened and the replacement was successful. It cost a replacement fee, and the deposit at the time of replacement was returned. Experience is a genius. Don't listen to what people say you can't change it even if you pay, just call customer service to describe the scratch and ask for payment to change it

Anonymous12215 Nov 17, 2024@ Poster How long is the replacement cycle? Is the replacement fee of 528 deducted from the deposit?

Anonymous12216 Nov 17, 2024Washing machine Dafa, just do it

Poster Nov 20, 2024@ Anonymous12215 I deducted 528 + frozen deposits in total at the beginning. It takes about two or three days to change the appointment, and it takes a little longer to change it back, almost 7 or 8 working days. Moreover, there will be no proactive notification if the change is successful. I still check the status myself and find that the show process is completed
