I recently bought a 32-inch 4K240 oled monitor. I wanted to enjoy the P3 color gamut. After connecting it to windows, I found that the colors under the P3 color gamut were scratchy, either gray or oversaturated. Unfortunately, the monitor could only be changed to srgb mode. I have heard for a long time that mac's color management is very awesome. Can you use v friends who have used it to evaluate it? The performance of mac's external monitor in the p3 color gamut, and whether the colors are normal under the default configuration.

Anonymous2836 Oct 30, 2024I connected an external Philips 4k, which costs more than 3,000 yuan, and the effect of p3 and even hdr conversion is pretty good. But there is a big gap with Apple's own monitor (MacBook Pro 16 ').

Anonymous8742 Oct 30, 2024You have to be able to adjust colors yourself. The color management of Windows is more adjustable than that of mac, and it will definitely achieve the best display effect of the monitor. The main reason why mac color management is awesome is that ColorSync can automatically read the monitor ICC/EDID and has a unified color space conversion logic, which has no requirements for users and high consistency.

Poster Oct 30, 2024@ Anonymous8742 I really don't know how to adjust it. I have been brushing the post bar of station B for several nights. win11 also changed to the version 24h2 (which supports automatic color management). The color is gray, especially after 24h2 turns on automatic management, I feel that the screen is gray. No, I read online that 24h2 is for reading EDID
