I have experienced several smart watches recently, let's briefly compare them (apple/huawei/samsung/garmin)

Review of last issue: https://www.v2ex.com/t/1042862 Tell me why I always change my watch: 1. I really like the intelligence and wearing experience of apple watch, but it is tied to the iOS ecosystem and it is annoying to charge every day 2. The storage of iOS devices is too expensive. I just need large capacity after having a baby. Looking at the iPhone 128-> 256 +1000, 256-> 512 +2000, compared with Android, it seems that it is too much So recently I have been expecting to get rid of the shackles of apple watch and look for a device that is not bound to the platform. # # Apple Watch S9 The original Apple Watch Ultra was too inconvenient after the season of wearing long sleeves. It was so thick that many of my clothes with closed cuffs would get stuck when I put them on, which was a bit troublesome, so I switched to the S9 and used it for a while. Compared with National Bank S10, advantages: * Fast charging * Small black border * Ceramic rear cover For me, there are only 2 disadvantages: * Must be used with iPhone * Basically charge every day It's really thin and light, and the wearing experience is very comfortable. I especially like it. Although I don't use the iPhone now, I still keep this watch and reluctant to sell it. I take it out from time to time to charge and play. # # Garmin 255 I bought it twice. After using it for the first time, I found that the experience was a bit backward, so I quickly returned it. The second time, I had the illusion that I could run again because I ran a few times, so I impulsively bought 255 again. I used to use Garmin for running, and the data of running + swimming in those days are still there. Using Garmin makes me feel as if the state of my youth has not gone far away, and I can become stronger again. But the reality is cruel. When I was young, my running knee injury has not recovered so far, and it quickly relapsed after several consecutive running. In addition, it is basically difficult for the children at home to guarantee time to continue running, and other functions other than running 255 are really not enough. To sum up, the advantage is that Jiaming's brand focuses on a sport, but the disadvantages are: * Vibration and buzz torture like falling apart * No touch screen * The display effect is not good enough either * Retro charging cable design * You need to use an app to stay in the background, which consumes more power It finally went out # # Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Lightweight, cheap, smart, and sensor-rich. A while ago, Samsung's official website was doing an event, and I accepted someone else's. It's really cost-effective. You can measure blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen, etc. on your watch for just over 1,200 yuan. The UI and intelligent experience are also the best I have ever used in the Android ecosystem. The disadvantage is that the adaptation of non-Samsung mobile phones is cumbersome and requires several apps to stay in the background. It is said that others will encounter the problem of disconnection, but I haven't encountered it myself for a few days. The watch is very light, and it is basically useless to wear and sleep. I feel almost like AW. However, I encountered a problem. The message reminder sometimes works and sometimes fails. Sometimes the delay is a bit too much. A bunch of messages keep vibrating, but some messages with reminders are not vibrating. Finally, after using it for a few days, I decided to abandon it. Advantages: * Intelligent, you can install many apps * Clean interface, similar to Apple * Rich sensors and accurate data * Available at a very low price Disadvantages: * Troublesome adaptation of non-Samsung mobile phones * Stability in doubt * Requires 3 apps to stay in the background # # Huawei Watch GT4 In fact, there are only a few wearable devices that focus on accurate data system maintenance, namely Apple, Samsung and Huawei. After turning around, I bought another Huawei, this time it was a GT4. The main one is cheap, long battery life, accurate data, and has a storage space 8 times larger than the GT5. The biggest disadvantage is that there are too many messy things in the Huawei Sports Health App. In addition, it is necessary to search for stars. It seems that it can't automatically detect and record movement like a real smart watch (I didn't deliberately look for this setting, just casually). The configuration is simple and only requires an App. On my Android phone, Huawei Sports Health saves much more power than Garmin Connect. It's what I'm using at the moment. Compared with the other three, it's a little bigger and heavier. Advantages: * Data is accurate * Price bottom * The battery life is very good * Basic functions are available, you can use WeChat, and the adaptation is simple * Dial, diet record, calorie gap calculation of weight loss special attack * Compared with GT5, it is more worth buying Disadvantages: * It would be nice if Huawei's sports health were a little purer * Slightly heavy At present, I will use the GT4 first, and I will not rule out switching back to the apple watch when I encounter a suitable iPhone one day.

If you switch to an Android phone, you won't be able to use your Apple Watch AW For Apple users, except for battery life, I think there are basically no shortcomings. 😂

Garmin's watch is semi-intelligent. You have to see that its own function is actually not much different from that of a bracelet. It relies heavily on the app. The watch itself is just a sensor that collects data.

I don't think the watch needs to be too smart. Battery life is very important. After buying AW, I feel like I have added a task to myself. Remember to charge it I forgot to charge it twice and never brought it with me again

@ Anonymous5574 No, oppo's watch sales are not high, and the system maintenance is low. These two points determine the R&D and maintenance efforts behind it, and the accuracy of the data is doubtful. All other niche watches and bracelets have similar problems. I value the accuracy of data more, because no matter how much data is, it is meaningless if it is inaccurate. @ Anonymous1359 Yes, aw battery life is the gate of life, maybe it is precisely because of the sacrifice of battery life that it is so smart @ Anonymous2079 Huawei is also a big bracelet, but it is more modern. The display effect and operating experience are all extensions of smartphones. Garmin 255 is relatively retro @ Anonymous562 Yes, it's annoying enough to charge the phone every day, and one more watch, it's bad. Huawei GT4, I currently have 89% battery left after wearing it for 3 days.

@ Poster Domestic Android watch systems only have magic modified Android and RTOS. Magic modified Android requires manufacturers to adapt the software themselves and build an ecosystem, which is indeed difficult

How is the cruise on the galaxy watch7?

@ Anonymous5575 If it is not turned on and always on, it is similar to watch s9. If it is turned on, it will feel a little worse, but basically it is still impossible to take off. It can be charged once a day. Sometimes it can last for 2 days but it is very insecure

@ Poster This battery life really persuades you to stop
