There is no need to buy a new computer at all, but I still want to buy a new mac mini. Is there something wrong with it?

Apple Family Bucket users. Now I am using the beggar's version of MBA with M1. I usually use an external monitor as a host, and I can take it out and use it occasionally on business trips. Since I am a text-only worker, the performance is completely sufficient, and I feel very smooth and satisfactory in all aspects.
I had a mac mini 2018 before, and I sold it after I got the m1 MBA. I really wanted to buy a mac mini M2 before, and then I endured it all kinds.
I just upgraded the completely sufficient iPad mini 6 to mini 7 last month. Now I see that the appearance of the mac mini M4 has changed and the price-performance ratio is high, so I want to buy it again...
What kind of psychology is this? It's useless to buy it without any need, but I just want to buy it. I'm speechless to myself.

Anonymous5930 Nov 3, 2024If the products on hand cannot meet your needs, then change them, unless the electronic products can manage money, just like the 3080 a few years ago, but Apple's products have high premiums and prices fall quickly, so there is no point in blindly following the trend

Anonymous2527 Nov 3, 2024The same is true for me. Maybe I have been brainwashed by consumerism, and I especially want to upgrade all the equipment I have on hand.

Anonymous8924 Nov 3, 2024Analysis: 1. Pay for good product design (the design is really catching 2. The heart is empty, lack of life goals, and needs to be covered up with material things (it can be seen that even if you don't buy a mac mini m4, you will scratch your head and cheeks because of other things Solution: There is no solution, because I understand the truth, but you can't do it. What does it mean to be rigid without desire (tactical backward

Poster Nov 3, 2024@ Anonymous2527 I just feel that I have been brainwashed, and all kinds of equipment at hand have to be replaced after two years at most...

Anonymous4694 Nov 3, 2024@ Anonymous2527 Don't have to. Recently, he was brainwashed by Alex Hormozi. He said that there are two reasons for spending money: 1. This money can be invested; 2 This money can improve your skills.

Anonymous4694 Nov 3, 2024@ Anonymous4694 Buying electronic products will depreciate in the future, which does not conform to Article 1. But if you have a purpose that meets Article 2 (to improve your ability to earn money), you can buy it.

Anonymous545 Nov 3, 2024One is the influence of consumerism, which is just like black silk will have astringent value only after it is presented by industry and commerce. The arousal of consumerism in modern society is actually common. The other is that you don't want to save money subconsciously. Of course, no matter where the deposit is originally devalued, and because the logarithm is far faster than most people think. I think one of the solutions to this problem is to change social culture, of course, this is very difficult, and the other may be to reduce your salary.

Anonymous711 Nov 3, 2024Let's explore the potential needs a little bit. For example, I found that the Mac mini is very satisfied with AI graphing, Whisper, video transcoding, etc. Although the M1 can also run, and it doesn't matter if it is a little slower than the M4, the MBA is fanless, so it will be very hot, and it's not fun to make false soldering. However, if these needs are really not available, don't spend money indiscriminately. This money will take a long time to use online drawing and speech-to-text conversion. For example, if you upgrade mini 6 to mini 7, you can't understand it...

Anonymous3871 Nov 4, 2024Toys, I used macmini2018 before, and the m4 came out, and it was less than 3,600 after JD.com's national subsidy. The old 2018 can still sell for 600, so I started directly...

Anonymous11448 Nov 4, 2024I also want to buy it, but JD.com has been out of stock. The official website is still a bit expensive including the education discount. I am considering whether to buy it
