I bought the Hong Kong version of S10 for almost a month. During this period, only two daytime naps were monitored, both of which I slept in bed on weekends. Sleep time is more than 1 hour.
In the company on weekdays, I lie in a chair at noon and sleep for 20 to 40 minutes in the morning, which has never been monitored. The installed Pillow and autosleep are recorded with naps.
Does watchOS11 automatically monitor the nap function require any settings? Only naps longer than 1 hour can be automatically monitored?
It's just for this S10 with an upgraded automatic monitoring sleep function, otherwise my S6 would still be firm. It turns out that this is...
What happened to your watch? Do you have similar problems?

Anonymous5566 Nov 4, 2024Recommended software: autosleep S8 self-test is quite accurate

Anonymous480 Nov 4, 2024Actual measurement, monitoring nap must lie flat, even if sleeping on a recliner
-
Anonymous4304 Nov 4, 2024I haven't used the watch before, but the Xiaomi bracelet is very accurate, at the minute level

Anonymous2397 Nov 4, 2024I've always been fascinated. Sometimes I can detect it and sometimes I can't. My nap time is less than 30 minutes, so I often can't detect it. It happens a few times a month. Moreover, if you don't enter sleep mode, there will be no detailed information if it is detected. Really not as good as auto-sleep

Anonymous10639 Nov 4, 2024I've given up, applewatch detecting sleep is rubbish. The built-in monitoring cannot detect nap, but autosleep can detect it, but sometimes it is very inaccurate at night.

Anonymous5567 Nov 4, 2024Damn, the situation is similar to the original poster, I am very disappointed = =

Anonymous5568 Nov 4, 2024Yes, it was also expected but never recognized. Usually, I lean back in the ergonomic chair to take a lunch break, and I can't detect it.

Anonymous5569 Nov 4, 2024The sleep monitoring that comes with the Watch is very rubbish, and AutoSleep is not very accurate. The best one to use is Pillow

Anonymous4777 Nov 5, 2024@ Anonymous2397 I have been watching autosleep, the nap time is less than 30 minutes, and there is a high probability that it will not be detected
-
Anonymous5570 Nov 5, 2024It depends on the sleep time, which is more than an hour, so I now use third-party software, and it automatically synchronizes to the sleep App after opening it

Anonymous5571 Nov 6, 2024Can the Hong Kong version of esim be used in mainland China?
-
Anonymous1448 Nov 6, 2024The unit has a simple bed, which can guarantee a lunch break of 1 hour and 15 minutes every day, and it can still be detected

Poster Nov 7, 2024@ Anonymous5566 autosleep wasted after upgrading to iOS18, and now I don't use it anymore. Compared with the night sleep monitoring that comes with the system, the sleep monitoring that comes with the system is more in line with my own situation

Poster Nov 7, 2024@ Anonymous480 Must lie flat? This is too crap
-
Poster Nov 7, 2024@ Anonymous10639 Hey, my autosleep is basically unusable since I upgraded to iOS18. The only function is to check the daytime nap time. Night sleep monitoring is completely incomparable to what comes with the system

Poster Nov 7, 2024@ Anonymous5571 I bought the GPS version, it is said that cellular cannot be used in mainland China

Anonymous5572 Nov 7, 2024OP can try the app I made, called Sleepal-Sleepal. You can find it by searching for Sleepal in the national area and searching for Sleepal in the foreign area. I trained a small model on the table to monitor naps, and the accuracy rate is not bad ~ but I haven't done the function of writing back to healthkit yet

Poster Nov 12, 2024@ Anonymous5572 has been downloaded for a few days, and I can record my nap every day. It's really good. Like it. But one day I didn't fall asleep much at noon, so I still recorded a 30-minute nap. Is this nap record a listen-only accelerometer? The data of sleep at night is still the data of the system used, right?
-
Anonymous5572 Nov 23, 2024@ Poster 1. Yes, our algorithm is mainly trained with accelerometers and is still continuously debugging ~, 2. Apple's own algorithm for sleep monitoring wrist all night is one of the most accurate, so we won't reinvent the wheel ~

Anonymous5573 Nov 25, 2024@ Anonymous5572 is using autosleep, and I feel that there is very little nap data. How about downloading Sleepal and trying
