Does anyone experience allergies/cryogenic burns when wearing Apple Watch S10?

by Poster Dec 9, 2024 40
I bought an aluminum black Apple Watch in early November, and my left arm got red bumps. I didn't care much at that time, thinking it was washing my hands and getting water, and then it itched and I buckled it and it broke. I haven't worn my left arm in the middle, and I don't wear it during the day, so I wear it on my right arm at night. This has been like this for two weeks. Today, I found that my right arm also has a red bump. The skin is not sensitive, it feels like low temperature burn. Have you ever encountered it?

Is it too tight? I wore it too tight at the beginning and the situation you mentioned will appear

Peeling and redness appeared at the beginning of wearing it, but not behind it

I felt burned when I first started wearing it. After wearing the Apple Watch for a long time (4-5 years), my wrist looked particularly white.

I only happened to the situation you said last month, S9. After wearing it for a day, I found a red spot on my wrist. I always understood that it was sweltering/moth powder, but I didn't expect to have a low temperature burn

I also have it. I have it on S7 before and Ultra now. It is red and itchy, and then I scratch it and the skin breaks. I don't know if it is called low temperature burn. I thought it was allergy before.

@ Anonymous4815 46's, not available for the time being @ Anonymous4817 Well, let's try again, maybe it's too tight and has water stains @ Anonymous10774 I also read it because I saw reports in this area, saying that nickel is easy to allergies, and titanium alloy is better In addition, thanks to everyone for their replies. So far, it is summarized: 1. The back of S10 aluminum metal is prone to allergies 2. If you wear it too tightly, you are more likely to be allergic if there are water stains and sweat stains 3. Don't scratch it when it's red. It's easy to scratch it like me, and it will be more serious 4. It should be better to wear hand cream

I had it when I first brought s9, but then it disappeared, probably because of allergies

The lowest low temperature burn has to be more than 40 degrees, it is definitely impossible

I only have the original sports watch strap that is stuffy and suffered from eczema, but it will be fine if I replace it with the sports watch strap

Wear it looser and change it to a woven strap

@ Poster There is another possibility that heart rate and blood oxygen are photoallergic. Turn off heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen monitoring and try, but this probability is even lower

Sometimes when I sweat, that piece will indeed be red and itchy

I have measles and haven't recovered yet, but I don't feel any discomfort when I wear the s10. When I wear the Samsung watch5 in the first half of the year, the skin on the back of the watch occasionally becomes red and itchy.

I will have it with Samsung's watch6, but I didn't have it with apple watch s6 before

If you change it to titanium, you won't be allergic

I am allergic to that little piece of metal on my watch strap

It seems that many people have mild symptoms, try again

I have an allergy problem, which is very itchy. Later, I replaced the silicone strap with a nylon strap, which is breathable. As for the allergy itching problem, I have no choice but to adapt to it, and it will be fine once I get used to it, haha

I had a similar feeling when I used the s5 before, but this year I switched to the s10, but the metal backplane is gone. Maybe the heat dissipation is better?

I had soreness in my wrist when I wore it, but it was not red, itchy and broken skin. Later, I turned off the blood oxygen test during sleep and got better significantly
