I bought an iPad air on a whim today and the experience was not very good

Last time I used ipad or mini4, I forgot why I gave up Years ago, I was very free and wanted to buy a mini to play the king, but considering watching too many videos, I thought about it on a big screen. If the pro couldn't afford it, I would use air. In the afternoon, I placed an order and stopped by Lujiazui to have a good meal and went to the store to take it home. After setting it up, I played two kings and brushed Douyin station b for two hours. I felt that the experience was not as good as expected. The worst thing about the body is not the 60hz refresh rate but the speakers. The horizontal screen is okay. When you stand it up to watch the video, it feels like it becomes mono, and the sound feels like it comes out of one side. Sound effects can't be compared to mobile phones. Secondly, watching the video feels very confused. You can still choose 4k on YouTube of Station b, but I can't find a place to adjust it on Douyin. Before, I thought the screen of my mobile phone was small, so I had resolution options when I brushed it on my computer. Finally, there is the software ecosystem of tablets, not to mention general or niche apps. Apps such as ins and threads are not adapted to large screens. In short, after so many years, I didn't expect the tablet to still feel tasteless and it's a pity to discard it. I'm very disappointed. I wonder if there are any ways to improve the iPad experience.

I agree with your point of view that "it's a pity to discard it when it's tasteless." I haven't really used an ipad for a long time But several famous apps are not suitable. Is it possible that we use them incorrectly? Is it possible that the mode of split-screen multitasking should be used to use these mobile apps?

For the ipad product line, if you have used pro, you will never use other models unless you are particularly concerned about the size. The sense of use is not an ordinary maladjustment. After all, the screen is large, and the 60 refresh really sometimes gets stuck.

After years of experience, summarize: 1) Don't buy air, prefer to buy the old pro, because the air speaker is not compatible with two directions, which is uncomfortable, which is the problem encountered by op 2) Just skip the 10 inches and buy mini and 12.9, one for going out and the other for home use 3) The iPad is an excellent macbook expansion screen (it can be wireless, which cannot be replaced by other portable screens). When you don't know what to do with the iPad, just use it as an expansion screen:)

I've been using the iPad for 10 years and now feel like an Android tablet can play a lot more than an iPad

@ Anonymous8944 # 25 The biggest problem with Android tablets is, 16 to 9. Of course, the 16 to 10 ipad has a huge black edge when watching videos, and the actual display area is greatly reduced But except for video scenes, the ipad is very comfortable to use horizontally, and the vertical display content is very comfortable However, the narrow width of the Android tablet causes you to turn it horizontally, and everything is not displayed completely, which makes you feel uncomfortable if it is narrow. Moreover, the Android ecosystem does not support you to use it horizontally for a long time. There are always a lot of apps that force you to turn it vertically

@ Anonymous11048 Android tablet has many screen ratios to choose from, and it can be used landscape no matter what application. Only when the iPad is scheduled before opening the platform can all apps be screened horizontally...

In addition to watching videos, very few other scenarios I have thought about can be realized... The main reason is that the experience is too different

To be honest, including the ipadmini product line, it is actually a little big for playing moba games (if you play a lot with your mobile phone), and it will take a while to adapt to it, but other types of games that are not too operational are perfect
