Apple Watch sleep monitoring is inaccurate

by Poster Jan 25, 2025 24
Recently, my sleep state is not good, and it is difficult to fall asleep. Set 22:30-06:30 sleep time. I lay down at 10 o'clock and began to brew sleepiness. I didn't fall asleep until about 12 o'clock. During this time, my watch recorded the core sleep, and I also recorded many waking up!! I got up three times at night, and it took ten minutes to fall asleep after I got up. The watch didn't record it twice, and the other time there was a gap between the waking time and the actual time. Is there an accurate sleep monitoring app?

@ Anonymous11224 Before the founding of New China, the average life expectancy of Chinese people was only 35 years old, but now the average life expectancy is 70-80 years old. If Chinese medicine is so useful, would the life expectancy of ancients be so low?

I think it's pretty accurate. If not, check if the strap is too tight. If the deep sleep time is too short, see if the mattress or pillow is uncomfortable, or the bedroom environment is not very good. I usually sleep for about 40 minutes in deep sleep, but once I stayed in a hotel, it was close to 2 hours.

@ Poster I feel the same way, lying in bed playing with my mobile phone, the system will actually determine that I am sleeping

My s7 and s10 are very accurate, and Apple's own one is much more reliable than autosleep
