Chrome Typing Giant Card for iPad

Whether it is macOS or iOS, I use Chrome as my main browser.
Recently, I started to use iPad deeply. I habitually used Chrome to log in to V2 and Weibo. I found that Chrome couldn't type at all, the card was extremely huge, and the screen speed was not even as good as 286.
I tried to use safari, which is called a smooth.
At present, I use safari for posting, and Chrome can't type on iPad at all.
But it's hard to give up the unity of Chrome's bookmarks and operating habits, including the continuity of browsing history.
Another way is to type where I need to. I first cut to other applications such as memos, and copy them after typing. This is more suitable for places where large text content is needed to be input. But if I need to cut an app just to type a few words, I feel particularly uncomfortable. I hope Chrome fixes this problem sooner.

Anonymous448 Jan 28, 2025By the way, I haven't used a physical keyboard on an ipad yet. Why don't you download other browsers and try

Anonymous3934 Jan 28, 2025I have transitioned to Safari. Safari can basically meet all daily uses. Unless individual websites show incompatibility, I only use Chrome. Otherwise, it won't be opened twice a year.

Anonymous3935 Jan 28, 2025I feel that the Bluetooth keyboard with iOS/iPadOS always responds very slowly when using Pinyin to input words, and it is easy to swallow spaces. I often find that the words are not on the screen after typing, so I give up the external keyboard

Anonymous3936 Jan 28, 2025There are always strange bugs in Wubi. Before iOS 17, there was a bug that I couldn't get on the screen when typing with a single code, and at that time, I sometimes experienced a huge typing jam in Chrome. It's fine after updating to iOS 18. I remember there were discussed posts here as well. But now I still have a bug. When searching directly in the Chrome address bar, if the last number is typed, it will be ignored directly. For example, if you search for Samsung s25, it will become a search for Samsung s... If you search for 163, there will be no response. This bug will only be triggered in the Wubi input method, and it's okay to switch to other input methods.

Anonymous8494 Jan 28, 2025It is also very stuck. M1 iPad Pro ➕ Magic Keyboard, some input boxes are stuck and I can't take care of it. The delay is one or two seconds. I only have a typing card, and I don't feel other operations

Poster Jan 30, 2025@ Anonymous448 # 4 Without downloading other browsers, I only use Chrome and Safari, the latter is completely fine @ Anonymous2157 # 7 No, I don't use this function at all. I usually use Qingge Wubi. The thesaurus is personal, so I don't need to replace the text of the system. There are too many problems. @ Anonymous8494 # 9 This problem can only be encountered in the text input box of the browser, but not in other apps.

Anonymous2618 Feb 10, 2025I always feel that the UI of chrome is clumsy and heavy, and it doesn't have the lightweight feeling that Safari looks like, so I use Safari for mobile terminals

Anonymous8494 Mar 21, 2025OP try Edge, because Chrome is stuck and I doubt my life, so I downloaded Edge and used it. I was surprised to find that so far, the same input box scenario, it has not been stuck

Poster Mar 21, 2025@ Anonymous8494 # 13 Looks like I'm not alone in this problem It's okay, I don't use the iPad heavily, I use it in macOS every day The built-in Safari actually doesn't get stuck, only Chrome will get stuck in the text input box.
