The main reason is that there is not enough memory, and now the background basically cannot be kept. I am ready to change to 16

From 16 liters of 18. Except for some Ali cards that have changed cards, everything else is fine.

Not recommended, the memory itself is small, so I changed it to 16 if it is stuck.

The phone can last longer without upgrading. If you upgrade, you will be unable to resist changing to a new phone

My usage habit is feature machine usage. I don't open background apps to refresh. I basically only use one app at the same time. I don't often switch back and forth between several apps. I feel that iOS 18 is more comfortable to use than iOS 17, and there are more custom widgets. And fixed the volume key problem, the storage of 13 is definitely not enough, so if you have high requirements for response speed and not killing the background, be sure not to upgrade iOS 18.

I also have an iPhone 13. I keep it on iOS 15.7.1 without upgrading. If the battery life is not good, just replace the battery. It will not be a big problem if I use it for another three years.

I don't know if it's metaphysics. Anyway, the iPhone I bought for my elders at home told me not to upgrade. A few years later, I used their mobile phones to install software, which was incredibly smooth!

In order to use my mobile phone to cast the screen to mac, I upgraded it to 18, which is used for fishing at work
