mac mini m4 (beggar version) connecting to the monitor problem

by Poster Feb 7, 2025 9
The monitor is 2k (there are 2 ports, hdmi and dp, and we are not considering changing the monitor at present), and the cable is hdmi-> hdmi: The default 2k-75hz flashes every few minutes; After changing to 2k-60hz, it is basically better, but I can still encounter flashes once or twice a day, and the obsessive-compulsive disorder is still a bit uncomfortable; < br > Would it be completely normal to change to typec-> hdmi or typec-> dp? (Is the latter the best solution)

Try changing the hdmi cable, hdmi 2.0 should be able to support 4k 60hz

@ Anonymous4497 I changed a few roots, and now it is Green Alliance hdmi2.1. After changing to 60hz, the screen basically stops flickering, but I still encounter it once or twice a day

I changed the hdmi cable and the screen flashed. Now I changed the c-dp cable and it stopped flashing, but it wasted a c port

I have also encountered it, and I finally located it as a static electricity problem

Mine is even stranger, it's okay to lay flat, but the screen will splash after a while when laid on the side

It is estimated that 75hz is overclocked, so it is unstable. There is basically no difference between 75 and 60, so there is no need to bother
