Apple Watch cellular, is iPhone card still useful?

As mentioned in the title, I am using a foreign version of iPhone (one entity + 1esim). Recently, I put my old mobile card on the backup machine and replaced it with a new telecom card (Fujian Telecom doesn't seem to support new users of No. 1 dual terminals) Is there a way to use the esim of the old card normally? Please give me some advice

Anonymous9238 Mar 10, 2025Before, I inserted the card into the mobile phone, activated the watch's eSIM, and then physically pulled the card directly to keep the watch's eSIM. Now I don't know.
