How to solve the problem that the iPhone is placed next to the computer and the Face ID frequently tries to unlock, causing the password to be asked for

I found that when the face ID is within the visual range of my eyes, I frequently try to unlock it. When the unlock fails, I ask for a password when I pick up the phone again, which is very annoying Now I can only put my phone behind the computer screen so that it can't see me 😅

Face ID will not be detected when it is not awake. The most typical practical scenario is the mobile phone holder in the car. If what the original poster said is true, then I don't need to lock my iPhone in the car. So I don't quite understand the scene depicted by the original poster.

@ Anonymous996 It makes sense. When I drive, I also put my mobile phone holder diagonally facing my face. There is no such problem. It's weird

It seems that I encounter the same problem as OP with a certain frequency (once every 3-4 days).

If you don't touch and light up the screen, it won't be detected at all... I'm afraid there's something wrong, right?

Doesn't faceid have an option to "need to look to enable face ID"? It should be fine if it is turned on

@ Anonymous996 @ Anonymous6719 @ Anonymous8292 Wrong, it seems that there is a situation when the notification is received, the iPhone seems to try to unlock if it can see you "about"

@ Poster doesn't scan faceid frequently even when it comes to notification, 15.4.1

How can you detect it if you don't turn on the screen? I put it next to the computer every day without this problem
