I have been using nano texture glass nano texture iPad Pro with high intensity for half a month, and I think it is very recommended

Before buying, like many people, I also did a lot of homework. From the shocking titles of persuasion videos at station B to the long discussions on Reddit, I have been hesitant. However, in the end, because the Apple Store happened to be in stock, as well as the "temptation" of unconditional return and 24 interest-free periods, I still started.
After half a month of intensive use (myself and my children at home, reading, watching dramas, brushing posts, drawing, designing, studying, playing games, audio and video production), it feels really good.
The most important factor is that we actually use iPad in various scenarios (i.e. ambient light and screen angle), which is fundamentally different from computers. With diffuse reflection, there is no need for special consideration or special adjustment. Basically, it can be turned on at any time and used directly, which feels very comfortable. For example:
1. Children like to draw on their stomachs in bed (for a short time). In the past, ordinary glass just reflected to the ceiling light, so the lights must be turned off, the position or screen must be adjusted. Now there is no need to think about it at all, how comfortable it is.
2. I watch videos or read articles on the sofa. In the past, I used to "meet the enemy left and right", with floor-to-ceiling windows on one side and living room lights on the other. I could only sit in certain positions. Even so, I couldn't see the dark pictures (I can only see my big face). Now there is no need to think about it at all, how comfortable it is.
3. At this moment, taking children to interest classes on weekends, basically every seat in the parent area is backed by the corridor window. In the past, I could only deliberately go to a certain place or adjust the screen to a non-reflective but quite uncomfortable position. Now there is no need to think about it at all, how comfortable it is.
I want to say so much that many times we have been forced to adjust because of various restrictions, and once the technical conditions permit, you can realize that things can be so simple and comfortable.
The two key issues originally considered actually do not exist or can be ignored.
-The screen is fragile and difficult to clean: it's completely fine. It's a touch screen after all, so it can be used normally. At most, tell children to be a little lighter when drawing with Apple Pencil; I don't even use protective film (I don't use protective film for all my electronic devices); When the screen is dirty, I wipe it by hand most of the time, and I don't think about using that cloth specifically.
-Image quality loss: There is no loss in dark light conditions. There are two types of bright light conditions: when there is reflected light, the black color does turn gray (physical reasons), but in this case, the glass screen cannot be seen at all; In the absence of reflected light, the effect is very slight. I am a designer myself, and I think I should be able to represent the opinions of some professional users.
An additional advantage brought by nano-texture (which is why some ordinary users choose to stick frosted film) is that when there is a light source directly shining on the screen, the visual effect of the screen has a shallow paper effect, which is very suitable for reading. In the past, I had to avoid light or I couldn't see it. Now, with the nano-screen, I sometimes deliberately look for light, especially the diffuse sunlight indoors, which can bring another E-Ink ink screen effect with completely different physical properties but visually similar-personal guess is that when the intensity of external light is (far) stronger than the screen light, it feels like looking at paper prints. For self-luminous displays, of course, this can only be achieved under the condition of frosted screen.
Having said all that, finally I have to mention the price. In order to get on Nano, compared with the entry-level 11-inch 256G, you need to pay an additional 5,900 yuan (14899-8999). From this point of view, money is indeed the biggest obstacle (but dear friends, in life, where do you want money? Money is not a roadblock). For this number, we can easily convert it into, for example, another iPad, a mobile phone, or even a game console + TV!
What's even more unsatisfactory is that most of these 5900 contributes to expensive hundreds of gigabytes of additional capacity that may not be used for a long time. Only in the case of 24 interest-free installments (the extra expenditure is about 246 yuan/month, two years) did I finally convince myself to pay. Many people think that it seems similar to take out 900 yuan to buy several high-grade frosted films for exchange? Well, maybe the difference is in this "seemingly". What I want to emphasize here is that many of the shortcomings mentioned on the Internet are actually not shortcomings. On the other hand, for high-frequency users, the advantages are really obvious (I haven't talked about the delicate touch when using Apple Pencil, etc.). So I finally got on the bus, just as enrolling my child in an extra interest class that he didn't like, or reducing restaurant consumption twice a month in the next two years... (I believe you can find a lot of 😂 for similar self-comfort)

Anonymous453 Mar 22, 2025So in comparison, MacBook Pro's nano texture is more cost-effective, only 200 dollars
-
Anonymous632 Mar 22, 2025@ Anonymous453 He means that only high-end iPads can be equipped with nano texture glass, so it's so much more expensive 11/13 inch iPad Pro for nano texture is $100
-
Anonymous632 Mar 22, 2025Still too expensive Choosing nano texture for 13 inch iPad Pro costs 2,000 knives, and there is generally no deal. It is almost twice as expensive as the 13 inch 512g I bought, and the advantages are not enough for me. justify spends so much money

Anonymous620 Mar 22, 2025I have seen it in the fruit shop, and I would like to call it a thin and furry look and feel, compared with the transparency of the mirror. I choose Transparent (even if Nano Frosted is free). Because there is no strong light reflection in my usage scenario, and the window is too bright during the day, I choose "Siri to close the screen window"
-
Anonymous46 Mar 22, 2025It's too expensive and affects transparency. I have to struggle with it if it doesn't cost money
-
Anonymous6654 Mar 22, 2025It seems like the screen of nano texture can't be filmed..
-
Anonymous1715 Mar 22, 2025Frosted payment is incredible. In fact, what could have been given away for free was actually sold at a high price, and then users still felt it was worth it. This is awesome.

Anonymous357 Mar 22, 2025High price or a matter of yield, research and development costs need to be shared
-
Anonymous339 Mar 22, 2025This screen is indeed recommended for ipad, otherwise the ceiling light will reflect light on the screen on many occasions, which is very uncomfortable
-
Anonymous830 Mar 22, 2025Electronic products should be replaced every 1 or 2 years, and no film should be applied to maintain the best feel

Anonymous2928 Mar 22, 2025op Do you recommend iPad or glass? nano texture glass is actually just a film.

Anonymous2178 Mar 22, 2025@ Anonymous2928 is a membrane. It is said that the difference between humans is greater than that between humans and pigs. The upper part is an ordinary frosted glass/matte screen on the market, and the lower part is a comparison of mbp m4 images obtained through atomic force microscope. Posted by station b, I took a screenshot of the most critical one. https://i.imgur.com/YRRWNDG.png

Anonymous2928 Mar 22, 2025@ Anonymous2178 Buy both kinds of screens if you don't have poor money, so that rotating them can relieve visual fatigue.

Anonymous2178 Mar 22, 2025@ Anonymous2928 mutual block.

Anonymous792 Mar 22, 2025Doesn't the iPad itself have an anti-reflective coating? The same experience as the MacBook. For this reason, my iPad Pro 21 has been running naked until now.
-
Anonymous453 Mar 22, 2025@ Anonymous632 Yes, Macbook can be selected without high-end configuration, so it is much more cost-effective
-
Anonymous453 Mar 22, 2025It can be expected that the nano texture of the future iPad will also be transferred to the beggar version, just like the Macbook and iMac. So we might wait and see

Anonymous8462 Mar 22, 2025I'm still worried about scratches and wear after 3-5 years of use. The iPad Pro is a device with a relatively long expected service life, and it would be embarrassing if the nano-texture is not durable enough. Unlike the Mac, the iPad has the need for touch operation, and theoretically the risk of nano-texture wear is higher.
-
Anonymous8407 Mar 23, 2025@ Anonymous792 Yes. The effect is still obvious. After the film is applied, the reflection is particularly serious. It's much better to run naked.

Anonymous2929 Mar 23, 2025Recommend 11 inches or 13 inches
