Does anyone use crossover to play games on macOS?

What is the compatibility of the current game, or how much difference is the experience from PC? If you want to buy a mac mini to experience it, games are currently the biggest obstacle.

If you have game needs, don't consider mac, and don't find yourself unhappy. After playing a game for many days, I can barely play it. Some games are simply unsolvable.

If you are a MacBook user, especially a Pro user, crossover is somewhat meaningful. After all, being able to play is better than not being able to play, and you may not be willing to bring two notebooks with you when you go out. mini is really unnecessary, don't bother yourself. The performance of the M4 is difficult to run native games. With that money, you can buy a 4060 machine

Directly play the games with mac os available in Steam, the experience will be better? Playing games on the windows platform, I feel that it will be better to use a desktop computer separately

@ Anonymous449 If you can be native, of course you choose native, but there are not many. But in fact, my requirements are not too high. There are many excellent games with low screen requirements, such as eight directions, puzzle solving, strategy, or various horizontal games. Or play with 1080P + FSR or something like that.

No problem, I use crossover or whisky to play some graphics card configurations that do not require high requirements, such as Hades, Joker, Dave, etc. are all very smooth

    @ Anonymous4650 Isn't Hades native supported

Yes, I'm playing Double Shadow, it's pretty smooth

crossover is a little unsmooth when playing watch, but overall it's okay. If you don't have high requirements, you can play it. Hearthstone works too

You have to buy one with a fan, but one without a fan like air is not very good

I tried it, it has a lot of compatibility, and I can't play large games. I still have to have a Windows to play games. Use sunshine moonlight for the internal network and UU for remote streaming for the external network

It's best to play games that Steam natively supports Mac, but if you really want to play them, Crossover is the best solution for the time being, that is, you have to buy the license once a year I usually play older games like Age of Empires 2 with basically no problem In addition, if necessary, you can check whether the game you want to play is supported here. Generally, the compatibility of Crossover and Wine is listed: https://www.applegamingwiki.com/wiki/Home

@ Anonymous449 # 3 is not very good. I played Bo 3 on mba. When the image quality was adjusted to advanced level, it stopped stuck. I can only say that it can be played.

As long as you have any pc/ps5/xbox, don't mess with mac, it's troublesome and poor experience

@ Anonymous4650 These all support the mac platform natively... I have been playing clown card fishing recently
