After upgrading iPhone ipcc to 63.0, how can I use 5G-A?

by Poster Apr 1, 2025 29
Mobile customer service in a province in central and southern China said that there is currently no 5G-A service, only 5G basic/premium/speed service. The customer service of Magic City Unicom said that it does not support front-desk customer service activation and is only open to specific invited users.

Beijing Telecom, after upgrading the system, it will be available directly. Speaking of a province in Central and South China, is there anything that you can't say directly?

Base station support is required, so the support in big cities is relatively complete, and some operators limit the speed of packages, so don't care too much

By the way, do you mean the place of attribution or the actual geographical location of Shanghai?

It's available after upgrading to 18.4, but it doesn't work everywhere. There is 5GA at the entrance of the company, but it becomes 5G as soon as you enter the company. I don't know why.

@ Anonymous1771 Hubei says it is Central China, Jiangxi says it is Southeast China, Guangdong and Guangxi say it is South China, Yunnan, Sichuan and Chongqing say it is Southwest China, and only Hunan often says it in Central and South China

@ Anonymous5511 # 2 Does this require the location of the card to be at 0755 or does it only need to be accessed at 0755?

Shanghai Unicom has a 5GA logo after upgrading to 18.4, but it actually shows 1X on carplay. I wonder what the hell it is? Isn't 1X something from CDMA a long time ago?

It needs the support of regional operators, just like Shenzhen. I can use 5GA in Nanshan, but when I come to Yantian, there is no 5GA.

I didn't have 5ga when I used k60 before, but I had it when I replaced it with Mi 15pro. At first, I thought 5ga was a function only supported by high-end phones https://i.imgur.com/agAJ0Rd. png

@ Anonymous1567 # 11 I'm in Shenzhen. It shouldn't have much to do with the place where you belong, it should depend on whether your specific location is opened.

To support 5GA, the following conditions are required: 1. Hardware support (iPhone requires 13 and above, and upgrade to 18.4 and above or upgrade the carrier profile separately) 2. The base station supports 5G-A 3. The package supports 5G-A Which one do you think you're stuck?
