Anonymous8944 Apr 1, 2025@ Anonymous3090 At that time, iOS still had tombstones, and there was no background activity in any APP. The iPad would automatically turn off WiFi when it was left still, and it would only be online to receive the push every once in a while. Sometimes I take it out to play occasionally and find that when the screen is lit, the WiFi is not connected... This is no longer the case with today's iPad

Anonymous4849 Apr 1, 2025Is the battery not working? My M1 Pro battery health is 88%, iPadOS 17, and I have been at home for 4 days + connected to wifi, which dropped from 70% to 20%. It looks like the power down speed is much slower than the OP. Is it possible that iPadOS 18 negative optimization

Anonymous4850 Apr 1, 2025This is also the case with my M1 iPad Air. Even if it is shut down, you heard me right, even if it is shut down, it will take almost five or six days, a week, and the battery is drained. There is no problem with the battery health. Make a 400 call and remotely diagnose the health of 99%.

Anonymous9179 Apr 1, 2025@ Anonymous1359 Have an Apple Pencil? Apple Pencil also consumes power. I tried to save a lot of power if the pen doesn't keep sucking...

Anonymous435 Apr 1, 2025@ Anonymous559 # 4 Miss the era when iPad2 iPad Air2 standby for a week or two

Anonymous906 Apr 1, 2025Restore the machine and update the system. Only connect to wifi, do not make any settings, and do not install any third party. If it can be reproduced, it is a machine problem. If it cannot be reproduced, it is a third party

Anonymous9238 Apr 1, 2025Does the M1 iPad consume so much power? My iPad9 was charged to 89% at 9 a.m. on April 1. By April 2, it was replied now, and it was still 86% charged. During this period, it was covered by the case cover, so let it go.

Anonymous4852 Apr 1, 2025I still have 30% left on my m1 after a week

Anonymous46 Apr 1, 2025Why don't you try turning off the background refresh? However, the standby battery life of iPad is really bad now, much worse than that of Mac, and Apple does not provide an automatic shutdown option. Every time I pick it up once a week, I find that the battery is empty

Anonymous4853 Apr 2, 2025Isn't this a 2021 product? I used it for two years and sold it for a long time. Your feeling is completely right. It does consume amazing power.

Anonymous1839 Apr 2, 2025My ipad pro is always turned on in sleep mode, otherwise when I go to work during the day, it keeps notifying that the screen is turned on for a while and the power will run out. It can be used for many days when the screen is turned off

Anonymous3016 Apr 2, 2025The same model, close the cover + flight model + quit all background programs, the power failed by 15% in one night +, took it to Idiot Bar and tested it and said the battery health was still 89%, but they didn't change the battery for me, saying it might be a motherboard problem

Anonymous4854 Apr 2, 2025Turn off the switch that clicks on the screen to light up, and it doesn't need to obviously lose the battery slowly
-
Anonymous1359 Apr 2, 2025@ Anonymous9179 I'll try airplane mode first, and I'll take the Apple Pencil off for him, 😂

Anonymous2548 Apr 2, 2025Is the background upgrading? Holding the M1 12.9, I have never encountered this problem, except that the power drops quickly when watching HDR videos.

Anonymous55 Apr 2, 2025The power consumption of iPad Pro is hopeless

Anonymous9571 Apr 2, 2025I have used the iPad Pro 12.9 2021 M1 for three years and I have never encountered such an exaggerated situation that the power loses 30% in one night. Generally, it loses 4 ~ 5% at night and is almost 0.5% per hour when not in use. It was once fully charged and I didn't have time to use it for nearly 4 days. I remember there are still about 50% --Of course, this must be related to personal settings/usage habits. I turned off background refresh on the iPad Pro. Only a small number of apps have push turned on. Even if push is turned on, some of them still push silently (Deliver Quietly) and don't turn on the screen The power failure situation of the iPad Pro 11 202 2 and iPad Pro 13 202 4 currently in use is similar. Combined with the use of the iPad mini 7 in February-March The energy consumption control of iPad is definitely not as good as that of iPhone, but it is not as exaggerated as OP (30%) --Either the battery is aging badly or it is an OS bug or a setting/usage problem

Anonymous2797 Apr 2, 2025For the same ipad, I even turned on the power saving mode, and the battery dropped by 30% even if it was left overnight. If I didn't use it, I had to turn it off manually
-
Anonymous4850 Apr 2, 2025@ Anonymous2797 It doesn't consume power if you shut it down manually?
