What is the best way to deal with an Apple Watch with a poor battery

by Poster Apr 13, 2025 38
I have worn the Apple Watch Series7 in my hand for more than 3 years, and the battery SOC is still 72% left. It is probably full before going to bed and sleep mode at night + the screen is pure on during the day until it just runs out of power before taking a shower the next day. If you want outdoor sports, you have to turn on theater mode (turn off the screen on to save power to the sensor) After all, it's unhappy, so what should be the best way to deal with this kind of aw with insufficient batteries? I struggle with two schemes: 1. Apple replacement: You can replace the battery with a new one by paying for a battery replacement fee, which is about 700 points? 2. Looking for an acceptable orange S8/S9? 45mm can be done for about 1000 Supplementary note: S7 is enough on the functional level, and it does not pursue new functions

@ Anonymous440 Yes, but it doesn't necessarily mean a new model, it may just be a little newer than your current one. And there is a huge inventory used for RMA. My 7-year-old one has only been updated by a new generation.

Never change the battery yourself when swimming. It will be wasted directly when the water enters, and running is okay. The best way is to sell and buy a new one. The official battery replacement is not recommended either. Although it is a phone replacement, it is not worth spending more than 700 to replace a model N years ago.

@ Anonymous4643 So, I wonder if the inventory of stainless steel will be less

Six months ago, a certain treasure replaced the battery for more than 100 yuan, and now the battery life is pretty good

Coincidentally, yesterday I saw on Xiaohongshu that someone took an s3 to a directly-operated store to replace the battery, and actually replaced it with an s3 😂

Change the battery, and we will fight for another two or three years.

Turn off the screen always on and you can keep it on for two years

Give it away after the official replacement.

@ Anonymous561 It's acceptable to turn it off occasionally, but it's really unbearable to click it every time you want to check the time

7 is not bad. Performance, the official battery replacement price is replaced with a new one

Go to the official change, I think it's okay

Now the price of second-hand sales is very low. Two days ago, I saw that 8 was around 800. Find a shop to change the battery.

    @ Anonymous1359 # 15 How to change this?
  • Anonymous1359 Apr 16, 2025
@ Anonymous1817 With AC +, if the battery is lower than 80%, replace it with a new one

69% are still carrying. Fully charge it before going to bed at night, bring it with you when you go to bed, and continue to charge it when you come home from get off work when you just run out of power.
