A bit strange problem with macbook external monitor

macbook pro 21, M1 pro
macOS 15.3.2
Monitor Samsung G8 34-inch 2k hairtail screen, direct connection through type-c
External ROG Night Devil and ROG Magic Blade x, connect to macbook via Bluetooth
The above is the hardware environment.
The problem now is that it cannot be used with the cover closed. Whether it is powered by the type-C of the monitor or the external magsafe, as long as the cover is closed, the external monitor will go black along with it, and the mouse and keyboard cannot be reopened. I made a hidpi connection to an external monitor through betterdisplay, otherwise the built-in macOS only has a 1720 * 720 resolution, and the UI is too big and uncomfortable to look at.
Because the desktop is relatively small, the appeal is that the macbook can still use an external monitor with the cover closed. Do you have any ideas? Thank you!

Anonymous13030 Apr 16, 2025External magsafe power supply is not enough? I found before that there is no power supply, and I can't use the monitor alone on the box cover, just power it up

Anonymous4456 Apr 16, 2025I encountered similar problems before. The new version of macos will cause some external monitor problems. Mine is from ASUS. Updating the monitor firmware solved it
