After long-term use of mac charger to charge mobile phones, the battery health is 84% to 79% in one month

The iPhone 15 Promax I bought for the first time usually uses the 96w and 140w chargers of macbook, and the cable is also the original c-port cable of mac. The health of the battery is 84% when it is cycled 300 times, and the health of the battery is 79% after 333 cycles today. * * Worried that the mobile phone display is inaccurate, connect to the computer and use Aisi Assistant to check it, which is also 79%. * * The battery life is obviously reduced, with a battery of electricity in 5 minutes.
Although the phone supports a maximum of 20w charging, using a mac charger, the phone heats up hotter than the 20w one.
Apple claims 15-Series batteries are more durable: Ideally, the batteries of various iPhone 15 models should retain 80% of their initial capacity at 1,000 charge cycles
Written at the end: Mobile phones are consumables and cannot be supplied. I just lamented the speed at which the health of the battery is declining. I obviously feel that the mac charger charges really fast and is comfortable to use.

Anonymous11129 Apr 18, 2025Have you tried to lose power? Charging it after 0% will damage the battery

Anonymous14779 Apr 18, 2025367 cycle 96% health is basically magsafe to the upper limit of 80%. Occasionally when traveling far away, I will use wired with 30w to fill it up

Anonymous13145 Apr 18, 2025I never only use 140w to charge. When I switch from 15PM to 16PM, I cycle it more than 200 times, and the health is still 100%.

Anonymous453 Apr 18, 2025In fact, "mobile phones are consumables" is wrong. The battery is the consumable, it's a good man to go to the Apple official to replace the battery
-
Anonymous1838 Apr 18, 2025Because the battery health in the settings is not updated in real time, but updated periodically

Poster Apr 18, 2025@ Anonymous453 The battery is too expensive, so insist on changing your phone next year. It is unreliable to switch to a third-party one, and the phone is not waterproof.

Anonymous4325 Apr 18, 2025Personally, I think it may be that after the battery is too low, the heating caused by fast charging leads to a long heating time and reduces battery life. If it is between 30% and 80%, the heat will definitely be less than that between 10% and 80%. There is less time for high power, and the temperature will not be very high.

Anonymous14469 Apr 19, 2025If the source of macbook/power supply purchase is not very formal, you can consider the possibility that the charger is counterfeit. This operation of reselling after changing the original is very common.

Anonymous344 Apr 19, 2025@ Anonymous4643 What is the principle? Can the mac still force more than 20W of electric power into it?

Anonymous2411 Apr 19, 2025I have been using Xiaomi 140w charger to charge all devices, not bad, the battery drops very slowly

Anonymous4643 Apr 19, 2025@ Anonymous344 # 109 I'm a little old and can't understand where you're talking about pressing? Mac does not support PD output. The iPhone's PD input is more than 20W. https://libattery.ofweek.com/2021-11/ART-36000-8330-30535477.html

Anonymous344 Apr 20, 2025@ Anonymous4643 It doesn't matter If the mobile phone party agrees to negotiate such high power, it means that it can withstand such high power The iPhone has not marked its own charging power, so there is no question of whether it is exceeding or not

Anonymous1884 Apr 24, 2025In fact, it has little to do with you using a high-power charging head. The mobile phone charging IC can only shake hands with its own calibrated protocol. Theoretically, there are only two situations of charging: normal charging and slow charging. The slow charging may be due to the charging head itself. Problems (insufficient power, protocol problems, etc.) or charging cable problems. But considering that it is the charger of my own mac, the problems of the head cable and the head cable can basically be eliminated. As for dropping from 84 to 79, this is Apple's usual method. The front desk will drop you by 5% at once, but the actual performance decline may not necessarily be 5%. The specific comparison should be made with reference to your usual usage time.

Anonymous15307 Apr 25, 2025I've been using Xiaomi 90w to charge, it's not so exaggerated
