iPad Air (M2) bezel live

rt When my iPad Air (M2) is unplugged and all peripherals are removed, I can feel a slight shock by holding the iPad body with both hands. At present, the battery life of the device is relatively normal (at least there will be no obvious power failure in standby mode), but it will be intermittently insensitive when doing the operation of sliding up and exiting. I wonder if this phenomenon is a common problem.

When unplugged, the iPad is battery-powered. Theoretically, there should be no shock inductance. Check to see if there is any leakage in your home. Just like a certain issue of Chengyang Electrician at Station B, the floor of the home is charged https://i.imgur.com/duWRpIu.png

Like a static problem? You try to touch the tablet case with one hand and operate the touch screen with the other

@ Anonymous1866 I won't have a shock inductance when holding a MacBook, which should be able to rule out this possibility, right?

@ Anonymous7193 will be relieved, but occasionally it will still be insensitive

The iPad's own battery voltage shouldn't be enough to make people feel shocked, right? You take it and try somewhere else?

@ Anonymous7109 has taken him to many places, and he has shock inductance... I feel it may be a hardware problem, so I made an appointment with Genius Bar today

After seeing your post, I let my colleagues feel it. When I install the M4 Magic Keyboard on my iPad Pro, I will have an obvious feeling when I gently slide my finger on the keyboard metal, which is obvious compared with the situation when there is no power on. The difference. It should be the leakage situation you mentioned... Moreover, when my M3 Air is charging, there will be a similar situation in the area on the edge of the keyboard

@ Poster I have power on the frame of the whole machine, and now I feel that it is also on the screen... and there is no need to slide, just hold it and it will be powered. I used the Apple Pencil on my desk for half an hour yesterday and it was already electrocuted

I found out that it failed after a while on the table.... But touching the border problem with one hand would be fine..... I'm thinking about whether to try getting a copper foil sticker

    Also M2

@ Anonymous3383 # 9 It's not sensitive to slide up. I read that many people on Xiaohongshu and Reddit said it, but I didn't see it online when I wasn't charging it. I sent the machine back to the factory, but I don't know what the result will be...

@ Poster # 11 Genius Bar changed it for me. Theoretically, it needs to be returned to the factory for repair... They gave me the machine with some cool handling

@ Anonymous3383 # 12 Can it still be like this? I sent it over and they felt that the problem could not be repeated, so they sent it back to the factory for testing. The factory detected a problem and replaced me with a new machine. When I signed for the new machine, I only checked the appearance. When I took it home and turned it on, I found that the screen was broken, so I sent it to Genius Bar... Genius gave me two options: call 400 to find the maintenance dispute department and go to the Genius Bar after-sales channel for repair (there is no difference between iPads before 2024, but iPads after 2024 can have screens replaced, and the result of going to Genius Bar is to go again. Change screen) After the inspection, I asked him to look through my maintenance records (I have returned it to the factory for a new one three times due to functional failure caused by quality problems), and asked him to see if he could feed back my situation to the manager and help me deal with it directly in the store. Then the manager came forward and told me that their after-sales system was locked and they had to ask to return to the factory, but Apple Store would try its best to get me back to the factory before replacing me with a new machine. As a result, I am now returning to the factory for the fourth time, waiting for my fifth iPad Air (M2)... I can't complain about this quality control... I even suspect that the iPad Air (M2) was updated so soon because of design flaws...

@ Poster # 13 Experienced instant noodle lid. It seems that that lock operation can only be returned to the factory... The brother went through all the options and then made a few coquettish operations that I couldn't understand. Then I went to the engineering department to get a new machine and started scanning the code. While scanning, I said to see if this operation can be skipped. After the sweep, he went on for another 10 minutes... The result bypassed the return. Coordinates France.
