I recently purchased or subscribed to several apps, but Apple directly rejected the refund

by Poster Apr 30, 2025 23
In the past two months, I bought two apps respectively, one of which was repeatedly purchased by another ID and applied for a refund. I refused both times. Okay, I admit it. Who told me I had too many IDs? Another model requires in-app purchase to try the function I want. Later, I found that the function was not very good, so I applied for a refund. I refused twice, and I admitted it again. Who told myself to think of trying out the function without spending money? The point is that the third model is subscription-based. The APP clearly states that the subscription can be tried for 7 days. Well, I decided to order it, and the result was a direct deduction of 98 yuan, not 9 yuan 8 yuan.... The same two applications for refunds were rejected. I can't bear it anymore. Does anyone have a good way for me to get my money back? 98 bucks.

It is clearly stated that the subscription can be tried for 7 days, and the result is a direct deduction of 98. What's the situation? Is the APP fraudulent?

One situation I know is that if the App can be tried for free for 1 month at first, and you unsubscribe after trying it for a month, there is no charge for the whole process. After that, if this App is launched and used for another three months, and you try it out again, you will be deducted a month's fee first, and then you will be given a two-month trial period. I encountered this logic on this site before, which deducted my one-month fee and gave me a 3-1 = 2-month trial.

I tried refunds for in-app purchases many times, but they didn't give them a refund, and I didn't say the reason. The description was very clear and it didn't meet expectations. Can anyone really get their money back from Apple

Isn't it supposed to be a free trial if there is a trial? Why will the money be deducted? You have been fooled yourself. If you can try it for free, it is impossible for him to deduct the money, but the money will be deducted after the trial is over

There is a saying that the id refund card in China is stricter. I don't know if the op is in China. Several refunds in my US area have been relatively smooth

Maybe there are consecutive refunds in front of the same account number, and the account number is marked. Later, I applied for a refund and refused. If it is a national account number and the evidence is conclusive and does not match the trial instructions, you should be able to get it back. If it doesn't work, you can try calling 12345 or 12315.

The third subscription app can publish its name.

@ Anonymous5595 I also encountered it the other day, it seems that Apple's service has gone wrong recently? Finally successful refund

@ Anonymous14580 also encountered it two days ago. The software prompted a 3-day trial before charging. As a result, the money was deducted as soon as the trial was confirmed. The software on the Mac was called Gemini 2, and the refund was finally successful

Gotta complain to get back. Can't cheap Cook

@ Anonymous480 # 9 Gemini is a photo album duplicate check, right? I also tried it in 2019, and the fee will be deducted immediately after confirming the trial. I also hit Apple 400 to get it back.

Call Apple customer service directly for a refund, and then ask the app author if he can get a refund. If he can't get a refund, he can only give a bad review
  • Anonymous454 Apr 30, 2025
@ Anonymous4904 can only ask Apple to refund it, the author cannot refund it unless he loses Apple's commission out of his own pocket and transfers it to you

My wife once bought an app membership and forgot to cancel the automatic renewal. She didn't have it for two months and was still deducting money. She asked Apple to refund it

I have retired several times in the last six months and it has gone smoothly
  • Anonymous5598 Apr 30, 2025
After starting the trial, cancel the automatic subscription. When it expires, the interface may also show that you can try it for free. In fact, the subscription will be directly deducted.

@ Anonymous13985 It can be refunded. I subscribed to exping in the US area all year round. Later, when they wanted to close the service, I applied for a refund. The annual subscription that had been used for half a year was refunded immediately

I only tried to refund two apps, and both were rejected. Both times, I refunded them directly when I felt it was inappropriate on the day of purchase However, after the second app was rejected, I directly scolded Apple in the complaint to vent my anger, and the money was quickly returned Anyway, it gives me the feeling that it's hard to get the money back from Apple

Once iQiyi held an event and gave me a three-month membership. As a result, I was charged my monthly fee at the beginning of the third month. After complaining, it was returned... A few months later, an app maliciously popped up an in-app purchase. I wanted to press the home button to cancel, but the fingerprint was accidentally recognized as payment (still a machine with a home button), Apple refused to refund it...

The app shows a free trial, but the subscription is deducted. The most likely reason is that the developer did not update the information on the app subscription page in time 1. You have tried it before, but the free use of the app is limited to once, and you will be deducted when you subscribe again. 2. This app free trial has been turned off, but the app subscription page has not been updated in time. In short, when paying, be sure to look at the payment pop-up window of the system. If the free period is not written in this pop-up window, the fee will be deducted immediately after subscribing
