Will the M5 come out with a new mold? Holding M1 pro, my hands are itchy and I want to change it.

After using it for about 3 years, the memory is almost full and it is a bit stuck. Battery capacity 89 Should you sell it at a high price early, replace it with a new one, or make the best use of it?

I remember that the mold of the 13-inch Pro has been used for at least 7 years, and the M1 Pro has to wait at least three years before it is possible to change. From a technical point of view, if the notebook-sized OLED screen is mature and mass-produced, the mold may be changed because of the screen change.

I don't know when I can cancel my bangs
  • Anonymous2345 May 7, 2025
It just became thicker, and I should not be able to lose weight within five years. As for the bangs, it must be the mobile phone to get rid of them first before it can be the mac's turn.

Still using intel core, cancel the bangs and replace them immediately

What I don't like the most is the bangs, but I guess they won't be removed

Will @ Anonymous2345 become the same as mobile phones, Dynamic Island?

Liu Hai really can't accept it. Let's wait until the mold is changed.

Now there are more rumors that OLED will become thinner and lighter at the 26th annual meeting.

@ Anonymous13530 But the new mold came out in year 5...
  • Anonymous4767 May 7, 2025
I'm also waiting to change the mold

M4 is a big year. Process node upgrades and core expansions have led to a significant improvement in performance. M5 has no new nodes to use, and the performance of M4 is currently at its peak, so it is estimated that there will be almost no performance updates. There is a high probability that energy will be put into updating the mold and replacing OLED should be a high probability thing

Personally, it won't be greatly modified. If the screen technology is upgraded again, it should be a good direction.

Will it be more eye-friendly to switch to OLDED, if not. Switching to M4 is a better choice.

Don't even tell me, right? I do: tmd that's called hard disk not memory

It is because of the bangs that I chose the M2 13-inch old grinding tool in 23 years

    @ Anonymous1831 hahahaha

m1pro feels like it can last another three years

The touchbar generation mold was released in 2016, and the Liu Haiping mold was released in 2021. By analogy, the next mold replacement should be in the second half of 26 years. But it's hard to say, the touchbar mold is still in use when the m2 chip is used.

My m2pro is used directly as a desktop, with two external 4k original colors. I have no new ideas for laptops

It is also the M1 Pro. Since its launch, the battery health is still 99%. It is also waiting for the next mold change.
