I don't know when Fruit introduced this wonderful thing [System Data], but it was tortured by this ghost thing with [storage phobia]. Every time, no matter how new or old the machine is, no matter how big the storage is, it has to be stuffed with more than 80% to avoid the system swallowing space...
Until yesterday, I just deleted more than 10 GB of movie files, and after slipping for a while, Safari was swallowed 5GB!!! I really couldn't bear this. In a fit of anger, I installed a troll to run Filza and started working on the system directory! At present, after finishing [system data] has dropped from the original 35GB to about 5GB, fully free up 30GB space!!!
* * known circumstances * *
* * System data and * *
1. It doesn't matter if Apps are cached!
2. It has nothing to do with Swap! (It's not the previous N82AP era, there's no need to open a 2GB Swap)
3. Planned scrapping related (suspected), it is full of dump files, various system logs, component download caches, completely useless db libraries, apps residual files, previously deleted photos, etc.
* * Prerequisites * *
1. TrollStore support
2. Jailbreak equipment (for those that fail to meet condition 1)
3. iMazing (for those who cannot meet the above three points, but the directories that can be organized are very limited)
* * Collatable catalog * *

/var/db/diagnostics/Persist < br > < br >/var/db/diagnostics/Special < br > < br >/var/db/diagnostics/Signpost are diagnostic and system Dump files, respectively; < br > < br > The fruit design is sorted out in a month or when there is insufficient space. This is also the reason why many changes are cleared. However, in fact, this method has long been ineffective and it will hardly be cleared in actual experience. The occupancy will increase over time

/var/mobile/Media/PhotoData/OutgoingTemp * * Open directory to non-jailbroken users; * * < br > < br > The directory is not affected by the automatic cleaning mechanism. It increases with the camera and photo library, so it must be cleaned regularly. < br > < br > Guess that photos and videos are selected to Share with other Apps or cache files when shooting. If the space of deleted photos does not increase, there is a high probability that they will be thrown here.
/var/mobile/Library/Photos/Libraries Photo Library file of unknown significance, * * This Library also exists on MacOS * *, and its usage will increase over time.
/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/AF123B6C-2B94-4C96-810A-0D79EEC3EA59/Library Safari cache directory to completely clean up cache files; < br > < br > Different versions may have different numbers, just find * * Safari * * and click on it.
/var/mobile/Library/Caches/< br > < br >/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.cache _ delete apps files unload residual and miscellaneous system cache
So far, I have explored these. If V friends find other discoveries, please share them below.

Anonymous8705 May 10, 2025How to do it on mac, the current system data is 380G

Poster May 10, 2025Routine scan with Pretty Clean first Then go to the Disk Inventory analysis directory After the final completion, if the system data occupation remains high, use Daisy Disk to clear the hidden partition space

Poster May 10, 2025@ Anonymous8705 There are many Mac directories, and it is difficult to give a complete directory table at the moment System Level Libary/cache User Level Library/Cache and Application Supprt directories

Anonymous1602 May 10, 2025@ Poster mac In most cases, it is the app heap because it is not a complete sandbox. Use the homebrew-zap command

Poster May 10, 2025@ Anonymous1602 is partially correct, but the system will also heap and hide, especially those that are upgraded across versions every day
