Spotlight consumes abnormally

In the lid state, as shown in Fig. So was the first day, because even at home I was plugged in. I originally thought about using the one that comes with the system, but it seems that I have to change it to something else. Go to the settings and adjust the index range, and cooperate with lulu to prohibit its networking. If the above still doesn't work, just go to the spotlight directory and delete all the files in it or kill the spotlight dameon across the board

@ Anonymous10065 used it quite well before, but it suddenly became abnormal a few days ago, and the system version was not upgraded. The settings always select all by default, I don't know which index has the problem

@ Poster Small probability event, directory problem or index error.

@ Anonymous10065 # 3 I killed the process and it looks normal. We have to continue to observe what scenes will reappear

It consumes electricity, generates heat, and is simply a cancer. I always thought it was a problem with the posture I used. Later, the system has been redone and it is still the same as a bird. It is estimated that it is a planned scrapping move. Now I have blocked the mds and replaced it with raycast, the temperature has also dropped, and the battery life has improved.

@ Anonymous10045 # 5 I only noticed recently that the cursor and local llm plug-in used to consume power, so now I force it back and close it again. It didn't reappear after killing the process yesterday. Maybe it has something to do with timemachine? Need to observe and confirm next time. I thought that if I used the system, I didn't have to bother with third parties. I first used alfred and raycast. I had heard of it but never used it.
