MAC's smb, NFS, and AFP are often disconnected, what should I do?

MacBook Pro is turned on 24 hours a day and never turns off, and it has been connected to NAS for a long time. I have tried smb, NFS, and AFP. After mounting, it has to be disconnected every day, and I don't want it to be repaired automatically like win
Is there any good solution for this?

Anonymous10207 May 13, 2025My PC and Mac at home are connected to Synology NAS (both wired networks). The observation over the past few years is that the SMB connection stability of Mac is indeed not as good as that of Windows But the problem is not big, that is, the Mac needs to be re-operated manually at intervals, and occasionally some network errors and the like will be prompted Windows error scenario/probability is lower

Anonymous2876 May 14, 2025I have multiple Macs here connected to the same Synology NAS, AFP is frequently discontinued, smb is less discontinued

Poster May 14, 2025@ Anonymous2876 This is the same situation for me. It is clearly said that AFP is Apple's own, but the disconnection frequency is higher than that of smb

Anonymous687 May 19, 2025@ Poster successfully replaced the script written by yourself, which is much more convenient. Start/wake up automatic mount, sleep automatic unmount are all fine. However, the system itself is defective, and the problem of disconnection and stuck dragging Finder to death together with other apps and systems remains the same.
