# # Current equipment situation
Monitor (ASUS PA279CV), computer (MacBookAir M3). The mouse receiver and keyboard are plugged into the monitor, and the monitor and computer are connected through a Thunderbolt 4 data cable to realize power supply, screen projection and data transmission.
# # Problems encountered
At present, there is a problem: every time the data cable is unplugged for a meeting, the data cable is reconnected after the meeting. Although the power supply and data transmission functions are normal (the mouse and keyboard can be used normally), the screen projection function will fail, and the monitor screen projection can only be realized again by restarting the computer. This monitor has also been connected to MacMini through a line before, and this problem has never occurred.
# # Tried Methods
-Replug and unplug data cable (invalid)
-Lock the computer screen and re-unlock it after sleep (invalid)
-Change the data cable sent by the monitor (same problem)
# # Help
There are many great people on the v station. I wonder if anyone knows the solution to this problem? Or have any friends encountered similar situations? If you have relevant experience, please feel free to enlighten me, thank you!

Anonymous534 May 14, 2025After connection, when the monitor has no output, does the monitor in the system settings not recognize the device? If not, it is recommended to check it in the Apple Store.

Anonymous8733 May 14, 2025I had it once last week, and it was also solved by restarting. I suspect there is a bug, but it has only appeared once so far
