When the watch allows the Macbook to use the password, can I agree with "pinch it"?

The S5 in my hand is very good to use. I just want to give me a reason to change to the S10 myself. After looking at it, I pinched it. This new feature is a bit attractive.
Now when filling in the password in the browser, you need the consent of the watch. You have to press it twice manually. If you can pinch it instead, you feel like you can change it.

Anonymous1481 May 16, 2025s9, it doesn't seem to work. And as far as I can use it, it is extremely difficult to pinch it. When using it, it is not quick to pinch it around like a hand stand. 🐶

Anonymous2882 May 16, 2025It is not sensitive when you want to use it, and it is mistakenly triggered when typing. It's turned off now, and it's honest.

Anonymous8464 May 16, 2025Pinching is not very easy to use, and it is easy to mistakenly trigger when typing. You can consider it Magic Keyboard with Touch ID

Anonymous2883 May 16, 2025Yes, but it's too insensitive

Poster May 16, 2025@ Anonymous8464 # 3 I personally don't like the feel of Apple's keyboard, and it's hard not to buy a code word because the domestic mechanical keyboard is so rolled.

Poster May 16, 2025@ Anonymous2882 # 2 @ Anonymous2883 # 4 It seems that the angle of the watch is very close to the judgment range of pinching when the hand is on the desktop, so it will be triggered if the action range is slightly larger? Then it is difficult to trigger when you need to pinch it. It is also because of the office posture, and the hand is on the desktop, resulting in insufficient wrist lifting stroke? In this case, I still don't consider buying it. When I have time for the S5, I will buy another battery on Taobao 28 and replace it and continue to build it hahaha.

Anonymous2884 May 16, 2025It feels very inelegant. I am referring to this solution of separating the Touch ID module and designing it on the palm rest or keyboard, so that TouchID can be used elegantly when using a third-party keyboard https://makerworld.com/en/models/486821-touch-magic-wireless

Anonymous2885 May 16, 2025I was a little surprised after reading the above reply. My own experience is that the success rate of pinching and using it is close to 100%, and it has never been triggered by mistake. I usually use it to snooze the alarm clock or turn off the timer. By the way, to answer the poster's question, password filling can only be done by double-clicking the button, and cannot be replaced by gestures.

Anonymous8656 May 17, 2025To be honest, I don't like buttons either. Sometimes I'd rather enter the password after pressing twice

Anonymous2886 May 17, 2025S10, you can't directly use the "pinch and pinch" gesture to fill the password (there will be an animation prompt that it is not available). It can be achieved by double-clicking the side button or using the "double-click" gesture (pinch) after turning on the "auxiliary touch" function.

Poster May 19, 2025@ Anonymous2886 It took two days to open and it fits my needs very well. I thought before that opening it would affect interactions such as clicks, but in fact, only a box came out after triggering the gesture to frame the selected elements. Fill the password twice, and close the message when it comes, only need to pinch twice. More features are being discovered... If you don't buy a watch, save 2,000 yuan and go to other electronic waste hahaha

Anonymous704 May 20, 2025First, s6 indicates that the success rate of thumb and index finger collisions twice is 100% Second, why does my watch vibrate when I log in to my iMac, and it never asks me to confirm the settings in 😂-Mac, which doesn't need to be confirmed.

Anonymous704 May 20, 2025@ Anonymous704 misread the topic, no aw confirmation is required to log in, password is required.
