The latest M4Pro MacBookPro is intermittently disconnected when connected to WiFi. Just wait for a while or reconnect. It won't last for 3 minutes and it won't work again. When the network is disconnected, even the router can't ping. The WiFi is Xiaomi's BE6500Pro+AX6 mesh networking, the strange thing is that even AX6 has this problem, even BE6500 is normal, and other devices even AX6 are normal

Anonymous2305 May 17, 2025Does @ Poster ax6 mean Huawei's router? Not even after upgrading the system?

Anonymous107 May 18, 2025Unplug all USB 3.0 devices

Anonymous1798 May 18, 2025Try turning on the wifi-5 compatibility mode in ax6. I seem to have had this problem before, and it seems that this will solve it

Anonymous1560 May 18, 2025Maybe change the router

Anonymous1716 May 18, 2025Since one router is connected normally and the other is not, we can only find the reason from the router, perhaps it is a setting problem (see the selected frequency band, encryption method, etc.)

Anonymous1716 May 18, 2025I'm afraid the most common thing Apple devices encounter is that the iPhone lock screen disconnects from Wi-Fi, and when it is unlocked, it automatically connects instantly. Many people think it is a power-saving mode, but it is actually a Wi-Fi problem. The router I used before even encountered an even weirder problem. Everything was normal when AirDrop was sent from iPhone to Mac, and 99% of the Mac was unsuccessful when it was sent to iPhone. Various searches and even many answers were Wi-Fi direct used by AirDrop, which had little to do with the router. Finally, I saw that turning off the network firewall could be solved, but it was indeed turned off and it could be sent. Soon I changed to a router and everything was normal. I still don't know why

Anonymous1897 May 18, 2025@ Anonymous1716 Which router did you change? Macos screen is also disconnected 🥹

Anonymous1716 May 18, 2025@ Anonymous1897 changed the AP. It can be set whether the macOS screen is turned off and the network is disconnected. I now use iMac as bypass routing, but the iPhone has no setting item. If I encounter problems, I can only find the problem from the router side. The above AirDrop problem should be an example, because the previous router has been used for 2 and a half years, and it was completely normal at first. Later, the problem occurred and I don't know what happened

Anonymous1631 May 18, 2025I have encountered it before, and I have endured it for several years. Just renovate and change the router It can only be said that Apple is 💩 from cellular to Bluetooth to wifi

Anonymous2238 May 18, 2025@ Anonymous1631 # 13 Apple uses Broadcom's wireless chips, which are already very good. At least wifi has always had a good reputation. Besides, wireless technology is like this. It is not as reliable as wired technology itself, and so are other companies. zigbee, thread may also drop when there is interference. Whether the wires of the electrical appliances at home are well shielded cannot be detected without professional instruments. There are also various interferences that are a bit metaphysical and have too many variables.

Anonymous2306 May 19, 2025@ Poster # 10 Redmi also has a problem with this AX6 firmware, iPhone15 connects to it, and every now and then the router will restart. I wonder if the mac will have the same problem. https://v2ex.com/t/1083628
