I used to use a black apple, and the monitor was matched casually. This was the first time I used a white apple and connected it to a 34-inch Xiaomi monitor. My eyes were so tired, and it felt fuzzy or something strange. Not as comfortable as a regular 1080p monitor yet... Is it that a monitor within 2000 is not worthy of this macmini?????????

Anonymous1760 May 18, 2025Need a 4K monitor, I have more than 800 Great Wall and more than 1500 LG UL550, as long as it supports 4K

Anonymous479 May 18, 2025Font rendering in macos without high-resolution screen is not as good as windows
-
Anonymous454 May 18, 2025Black apples and white apples should have the same requirements for displays
-
Anonymous2062 May 18, 2025Apple's standard is 24-inch 4K; 27-inch 5K; 32-inch 6K. Calculated this way, 34 inches have to exceed 6K to look good.

Anonymous357 May 18, 2025Next betterdisplay. The Mac mini is cheap for a reason, and the display is key.

Anonymous2888 May 18, 202534-inch hairtail screen? dp interface plus one key hidpi software configuration for me this works https://github.com/xzhih/one-key-hidpi

Anonymous1693 May 18, 2025It's like this. Two years ago, I just used a 1080P connected to a mac mini2 and found that the icons were all pasty. Now? Already adaptive

Anonymous6669 May 18, 2025It is estimated that you have not turned on hidpi, and some monitors cannot be turned on by default. You can look for the software to turn it on.
-
Anonymous2889 May 18, 202534 is too big, just replace it with 24
-
Anonymous7808 May 18, 2025I haven't figured it out after using one key hidpi. It is recommended that you use the betterdisplay posted upstairs, and you can match it by clicking the gui.

Anonymous782 May 18, 2025hidpi is not turned on, just turn it on, 4k can be turned on by default, 2K screen requires software
-
Anonymous22 May 19, 2025Buy a 4k one and you can open up a new world If 2k has to be tossed to open hidpi, and it is far inferior to 4k if it is turned on
-
Anonymous1757 May 19, 2025Being forced to use a 1080p screen at work means that you are accustomed to the effect of 🌚 and a 2k screen TV with hidpi on is completely incomparable
-
Anonymous2890 May 19, 2025It's also because of the font, I lost 200 and bought a mini

Poster May 19, 2025@ Anonymous22 The wallet is limited otherwise I wouldn't have bought macmini. I have turned on hidpi using the 12th floor method. Pay attention to use it. I will go to mbp in the future.

Anonymous2891 May 20, 2025It is recommended to pay attention to the DPI, for the best effect, please refer to iMac/Studio Display/Pro Display XDR, # 5 has already said, 21.5 inch 4K, 24 inch 4.5 K, 27 inch 5K, 32 inch 6K, DPI is almost around 218 Actually, I use a 27-inch 4k screen and the effect is OK

Anonymous22 May 21, 2025@ Poster I bought a 27-inch 4K 60Hz from a small brand of Guxing for an external MacBook Pro, which is quite good. It seems to cost just over 700 yuan. Now 4K monitors are much cheaper than before.
