macOS also requires security checks to open non-executable files with trusted applications

For example, there is a 123. json downloaded online in the ~/Downloads directory. If you want to double-click it in Finder and open it with VS Code, macOS will verify whether the file is safe. The result is often "unsafe", and you need to set the privacy security Manual trust there.
In addition to text files, video files (. mp4) will also have the above-mentioned security check process.
However, if you open it not from Finder but from an application (VS Code, video player), you will not have the above problems. How should it be solved?

Anonymous560 May 20, 2025I just downloaded a json which can be opened directly with both vscode and firefox without any prompt. In addition, don't use Finder if you can.

Anonymous46 May 20, 2025I haven't encountered the situation you mentioned. Have you moved any settings? Is the suffix name bound to the application you said
