Apple Watch Workout Circle Setting Dynamic Goals

by Poster May 21, 2025 22
As a former Garmin and current AW user, the comparison between the two has its own victories and losses. I won't talk about many articles and videos here. Just talk about Apple's slots: it doesn't have the concept of exercise recovery time. You set a ring goal. If you complete it continuously, it will only make you set a higher goal and urge you to complete the ring every day like a robot (originally). People are not machines, and they need to rest after exercise. I used to run every other day, so if I set the exercise ring as the goal of exercise day, the rest day won't be achieved. If it is set as the goal of rest day, the exercise day will be very unchallenging, and after such a period of time, it will prompt you to set the goal higher. Is there a way to set a dynamic exercise goal? The exercise day is high and the rest day is low? It can not only play a supervisory role on the exercise day, but also prevent yourself from being depressed because the goal is too high to accomplish on the rest day. I haven't found a very flexible and human method for the time being, but there is a way to approximate it. The specific operation is: 1. Open the Fitness App 2. Click on the avatar in the upper right corner of the summary page 3. Click to change the target 4. Click "Timing" in the upper right corner 5. Set goals for each day of the week After this setting is completed, you can achieve different effects on different dates and goals, but you need to fix weekly exercise days and rest days. For example, my Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are exercise days, and the goal is 800 💪. The other days are rest days. The goal is 500 😏 If you are exercising regularly every other day, such as 1, 3, 5 and 7 exercises last week, and 2, 4 and 6 exercises this week, you may need to adjust the settings once a week. I hope everyone can keep exercise habits and have a good health!

Is AW really accurate in calculating dynamic calories Work to more than 800 a day, but I am drunk if I don't lose weight Eating normally...

From the 2nd generation to the present, AW has been exercising every day for 2 years before, which is promoted by this magic medal system. I also bought apple tv and bought fitness +, and I have been watching classes for almost a year. Later, Apple adjusted the design, and the medal was removed from the level 1 menu. I also laid it out for a long time, and now I just follow it.

@ Anonymous2875 I'm about the same as you, three years since 2022, but I didn't pay much attention to that achievement medal

@ Anonymous7456 It should be the most accurate of its kind. It is replaced with high performance and short battery life. Whether it is reduced or not depends on your intake. You can roughly calculate your daily dietary intake.

@ Anonymous2875 I have tried to exercise every day before. If I persist for a long time, I will be very tired. It's not all physical, but I also feel tired psychologically. Exercise + rest interspersed with my personal experience is the most comfortable.

@ Anonymous7456 is quite accurate in smart watches. It is recommended to review the daily dietary intake.

It is unreasonable to move every day. I have given up the ring. The longest record is that it is fully closed in four or five months. Now I'm running in the morning four days a week. Other times depend on my mood. Sometimes I have a Fitness +

Originally, this exercise is so used ah, I always thought it was the basic goal of every day, separate exercise is recorded in the exercise

@ Anonymous3044 definitely didn't have this day-by-day setting at the beginning, and I'm not sure which version of this function was updated later

@ Anonymous8419 can only say that the aw of sports still has a long way to go
  • Anonymous7989 May 21, 2025
Still can't adapt The overall goal should be set to a relatively low, ensuring a certain amount of exercise every day Then challenge yourself with various badges

Set a goal of 400 and use the 200% badge as a sports day goal

@ Poster @ Anonymous2160 I just reviewed this with my family this morning. What is a fair calculation method for dietary intake? Thank you thank you

@ Anonymous7456's suggestion is not to calculate, because it is generally not accurate. Dynamic regulation, first of all, all snacks and drinks are definitely inedible when baked. On this basis, it is two or three meals, giving priority to reducing fat, followed by reducing carbohydrates, and keeping protein unchanged or slightly increasing. Perform for one to one and a half weeks to observe the weight change. Of course, there are many apps that can calculate it now, and there are even those that take pictures to identify heat. Except I haven't used it.

@ Poster Yes, I have been uninterrupted for more than two years, and then I got tired of it and stopped completely for about half a year. Now I have changed my strategy and increased my exercise time every day, but I don't seek perfect weeks and uninterrupted. I practice when I need to practice and break when I need to break., Apple watch only serves as a record, ignoring the urging of Apple watch
