Have you used M4 Pro MacBook Pro for development? Is it hot for daily use?

    What's 70 degrees, I often soar to 100 degrees

If it's not hot, I just bought a cover plate. The memory is a bit tight. If you run four microservices, the memory will burst into yellow. If you don't run the service service, it's okay, but you need a large memory for development

@ Anonymous73 # 20 If my pro drives IDEA, the off-power battery life is similar to yours

It still depends on the ambient temperature. It's summer, and the indoor temperature is 27 or 8. Adding a few degrees to the computer is not too much. If it is 30 or more degrees, your hands will feel hot. If you are really worried, you can try restarting the computer.

    @ Anonymous55 # 21 It's nothing for computers, but for me, it's hot 😂

Used it all morning, which is about 40 degrees

14 cores, CPU 20% means that at least two cores are fully turned on. 70 degrees is normal. Let's see what CPU has in the process. 100% of the process is resident. If you don't know what it is for, there may be a problem. My debugging process is usually not killed, so it's easy to do this.

Very strange question, if it's development (not editing), I haven't encountered hot since the M1, and the M4 has been used for a few months, and the fan hasn't moved.

You open your daily work environment on the weekend and leave it there. Don't move. If the standby time is obviously short and hot, it may be hardware leakage. First, contact Apple's official phone to take care of it. If it doesn't matter, find a roadside shop. Of course, if you are not afraid of trouble and want to judge carefully, reinstall the system and test it
