Everyone, how is the best way to set the system update settings for mac?

I mainly want to ask whether the first one (check for updates) and the last one (install security responses and system files) should be turned on?

Anonymous534 May 22, 2025Isn't this essentially to see if you chase the new version or not? I usually update the first time myself, so open 1, 2, and 5. Automatic installation is not turned on, mainly because the computer is connected to some external devices. It is safer to uninstall it when installing updates, so it is usually manually started to install updates.

Anonymous1810 May 22, 2025All main machines are turned off and updated manually Because I don't know if an update will cause inexplicable bugs or if the necessary software will hang up due to api changes. 😂

Poster May 22, 2025After @ Anonymous534 opens the last one, will it be automatically installed? I haven't opened this, I don't know what's going on

Anonymous534 May 22, 2025@ Poster Is the last one you're talking about security response and system files? This suggestion opens. macOS has built-in security features, and this upgrade is like the antivirus software upgrading the virus database. Actually, it should also be insensitive, and there is no need to restart or anything.
