Open a post to talk about the more practical office or practical software on MAC

You can go in any direction. I mainly do Java development. I would like to recommend a few first:
1. AltTab [quickly switch application windows] To be honest, it is indeed more accurate than the switching application that comes with macos, but it is not practical to develop habits at present
2. AppCleaner [uninstall software] is said to be relatively clean to uninstall. Sometimes I mix it with CleanMyMacX
3. Why put CleanMyMacX [system "optimization" tool] in quotation marks? Because it depends on how you use it from person to person. Personally, it is recommended to turn off the functions of "Protection"-> "Enable malware monitor" and "Monitor threat activities in the background" in the software settings, which consumes system resources (don't say that your computer is configured enough, because macos is relatively safe, so this function is theoretically tasteless), and it will also use a lot of energy consumption.
4. Bob [Translation Software] Personally, I think it is irreplaceable from the perspective of providing a variety of three-party interface services in terms of operation and interaction logic. However, the disadvantage is that there is no screenshot translation similar to the "Youdao Dictionary app". You need to compare it yourself.
5. Charles [packet capture software] Use it if you need it
6. Cherry Studio [AIBOX] People who like to toss api play it. It currently supports MCP but has not tested it myself
7. Cursor [AIIDE] was bald
8. DevHub [Collection of Development Gadgets] is similar to Microsoft's devtoys. The interface is slightly lower than that of devtoys, but the operation is relatively simple. After using devtoys itself for a period of time, there are often bugs that JSON format conversion cannot be edited twice. It has not been fixed yet. Simply don't use it
9. drawio [topology diagram, flow chart tool] has a web version, open source and free, basically enough, it is basic
10. FinalShell [SSH tool] is free and popular on Windows platform, and it can also be used on mac anyway
11. There is no need to introduce iTerm. It is recommended that subsequent versions of mac directly pre-install 😂
12. Hammerspoon [shortcut keys trigger actions] How do you say this? Use scripts to customize shortcut keys to trigger some operations. If you want to play, you can try it yourself
13. IconChanger [App icon replacement] I am very used to using it. Change the icon to change my mood, but I need to give permission in the mac system settings Auxiliary Functions-> App Management, otherwise most apps cannot be replaced
14. Insomnia [Api debugging tool] is postman, but the interface is better-looking and it also supports scheduled request tasks. The disadvantage is that it does not support Chinese, but the postman next door does not support it either (it can be Chinese, but only for the old version, and the old version of postman requests There is a problem with the response result returned when some special interfaces are requested)
15. As long as KeePassXC [passbook] is easy to use, you must download the XC version
16. Mac Mouse Fix [Mouse Pointer Optimization] Compared with Mos, it has more functions. The sliding acceleration of the mouse wheel needs to be adapted to. If you adapt to it, you can't go back. shift + wheel sliding is horizontal sliding
17. Motrix [download tool] is used less frequently, but it's okay. Something between easy to use and bad to use
18. MonitorControl [External monitor brightness control] can independently control the brightness of built-in and external monitors, with fewer functions and simple operation
19. OBS [push streaming, screen recording] is easy to use, but the disadvantage is that the files for recording the screen take up too much space, and the clarity and frame rate can be appropriately reduced
20. Parallels Desktop [virtual machine] is paid, you can pay if you want to use it, PoJie is available but not recommended
21. Paste [Clipboard Management] I have the last free version here [not PJ's, it's genuine], if you need it, you can ask me for it, it's free
22. Use Snipaste [screenshot tool], there are no long screenshots
23. Use PixPin [Screenshot Tool 1]. There are long screenshots, but I feel that it is not as comfortable as Snipaste. I don't know why, but I only open it when I need long screenshots
24. SnippetsLab [Development Tools] The top taskbar quickly retrieves commonly used code blocks, which is an app that becomes easier to use as you use it
25. Sublime Text [text editing tool] is easy to use, and you can use it without paying. It just gives you a pop-up window for you to support them if there is nothing to do, but the frequency is not high, so it doesn't matter
26. Typora [text editing tool] is easy to use. I have the last free version here. You should be able to search it yourself
27. yEd [topology diagram, flowchart tool] has more functions and is more professional. I currently use it more frequently than drawio

Here first, let's replenish, let me have a sip of water ~

Anonymous9761 May 23, 2025The smooze pro, which supports global mouse gestures. But this software fails after I restart it now, so I have to manually enable the button. I don't know if it's some bug, is there any replacement

Anonymous2044 May 23, 2025Warp: The terminal prompted by AI is not bad. Termius: SSH and other connections are managed inside, which is okay. Maccy: Clipboard history software Raycast: Some good plugins and searches, although I don't use them that often ChatGPT: After fixing the Chinese input exception, it is currently used a lot; Shortcut keys are the most comfortable among all current AI-related clients. (Tencent Yuanbao has also copied it, and it also has a word-drawing function, but the previous versions often pop up and ask you to choose a large model) Hammerspoon (also recommended by the landlord): Automation software, I wrote a bunch of lua scripts to do automation. It can be realized: shortcut key mapping, automatic muting after arriving at a certain place/connecting to a certain wifi, etc. Keka: The most powerful decompression software. Ice: Hide a bunch of icons in the upper right corner.

Anonymous2377 May 23, 2025hapigo search tool, the attached screenshot, translation, and historical clipboard functions are quite good to use, screenshots also support long screenshots, which can replace several software Qspase file management tool, as a supplement to Finder, can connect to Alibaba Cloud Disk, Baidu Netdisk, etc. I think the function of batch renaming files is very practical As a macbook screen forehead beautification tool, alcove is similar to Dynamic Island's function, which can display the music being played, focus mode status, etc. It is very convenient to switch commonly used software after Manico sets shortcut keys After folder preview is installed, it supports the space bar to directly preview the files in the folder The calendar widget on the Itsycal menu bar is convenient to check the date at any time. Personally, I think it is relatively simple and beautiful. It seems to be a free tool. The biggest regret is that it does not support the lunar calendar The runcat menu bar displays the cpu occupancy in the form of a running kitten. The faster you run, the more you occupy. Although the percentage is not visually displayed, it is more interesting. Besides cats, there are other styles to choose from

Anonymous2381 May 23, 2025AltTab is really good. Is there such a software that can be placed in the Dock bar, and then clicked on it to appear a list of all the applications that are now open, which is equivalent to clicking on the Dock icon to have the effect of Alt + tab.
