AirPods Pro 2 cannot find location

by Poster May 24, 2025 5
The IOS version is 17.7, and the headset version is 7E93. The specific performance is that there is a yellow exclamation mark in the search that shows "Location not found, AirPods settings are not completed". Turning off the search network can display the location of the last connection, but turning on the search network map will not display. I have tried all the ways that can be searched so far, but none of them can solve it. I came to a previous post (t/1094590) saying that after pairing with the new version, accurate search cannot be enabled when pairing with the old version. I just updated and connected the headphones when 18 came out, and then fell back to 17. I would like to ask if there is a v friend who can't find it without pairing it with the higher version? I don't really want to upgrade to 18 and try.

Try this scheme: 1. Ignore this set of headphones in the Bluetooth of the mobile phone Second, take off the headphones and put them in the headphone charging box for at least thirty minutes-if you have nothing to do, you can also plug in the charging box and charge it. 3. After at least 30 minutes, if charging, unplug the charging cable, open the charging box, and pair the headphones with the mobile phone according to the prompts. 4. Problem solving.

@ Anonymous704 The premise of the above answer is: This set of headphones, all three pieces are yours, belong to the same Apple account of the mobile phone.

This search function is really mentally retarded. Sometimes I forget where to put the headphones. In the past two or three days when I found them, it kept showing that I couldn't find the location. What about the last location advertised before? What about time? You can't count on it when you really need it.

@ Poster You're welcome. I'm glad the protocol is symptomatic to your problem.
