M1 air, external monitor, turns on again under black screen, takes more than 15s

Friends who use Mac m chip computers, have you ever encountered the problem that the external monitor takes too long to light up? When both the Mac and the monitor are connected to an external power adapter, and both the Mac and the external monitor have a black screen (the Mac is not sleeping), and the monitor is connected through Apple's USB-C to HDMI expansion interface, after the Mac computer screen is powered up, the external monitor has to Wait for more than 15 seconds to light up. Is this a problem with my monitor or something that isn't set up properly? The external monitor is a Kerui 2K IPS screen. In my impression, this problem exists all the way from Monterey to Sequoia

It may be a problem with the monitor, many monitors wake up very slowly now

Problem with the monitor +1. I used to have a monitor like this. Later, I sent it to repair and said it was a problem with the driver board. Just replace it with another one

Monitor issues. My mac only takes 1s to light up when connected to an old AOC, and even the latest dell U2725QE takes almost 15s

It may also be a problem with the external HDMI docking station. You can buy the docking station reserved by EDID. The computer is always mounted with the monitor, which eliminates the handshake time between the computer and the monitor.

    It's probably an adapter problem

@ Anonymous454 @ Anonymous2163 @ Anonymous9668 Thanks for providing valuable experience. If it's a monitor problem, just make do with it for now

@ Anonymous8684 @ Anonymous2164 is using Apple's original USB-C to AV multi-port adapter. It may be told to the friend above. The high probability is a display problem
