Why does iPad choose the charging head/charging cable so much?

Because now portable routers (with batteries), mobile phones, tablets, electronic paper books and laptops
They are all typc-c interfaces, so different charging heads and a bunch of charging cables
I didn't care that much when charging
Take one and pick it up
But at this point, I found that the iPad is too picky about the charger/charging head
All other devices are fine, but it just doesn't
For example, MacBook can be charged at low power, and charging is slower than discharging, so the battery still drops slowly, which is fine. Only the iPad doesn't work, why does this thing make the "powered" specification so narrow??

Anonymous8449 May 28, 2025@ Poster You must use the backward eliminated A2C, then no one will save you A2C is not even a standard, it is all magically modified... It is unsafe and inefficient if you use it to Apple I don't even have the equipment and wires for port A...

Anonymous760 May 28, 2025air4 pd charging head, up to 27w
-
Anonymous761 May 28, 2025It's actually pretty simple: The Type-C port supports PD and can be used. Type-A port short D + D-can activate Apple 5V 2.4 A.

Anonymous762 May 28, 2025@ Poster This article has been tested and it can be charged with 5W green dot. I don't know how casual the charger you take out is... https://www.chongdiantou.com/archives/185740.html At present, only rumors have heard that Huawei's magic modification is not compatible with Apple, but I can't confirm it without Huawei products, but the link just now also tested that Huawei 66W can also charge normally, so it's all rumors...

Anonymous10073 May 28, 2025As a middle-aged man, there are only a lot more charging heads at home, and so are the wires. There are not hundreds, but more than a hundred In addition, I use both Android and Apple, and there are also a bunch of original charging heads from various manufacturers at home But I really haven't encountered a situation where Apple devices don't work Even Huawei Because some generations of Huawei charging heads I have used support the PD protocol, even A-C, especially gallium nitride Only a few Huawei charging heads do not support PD and cannot activate the most basic 5W USB charging Mi OV's A-C, C-C (usually additionally purchased gallium nitride) heads, magically modified private protocol A-C line, third-party multi-protocol compatible single-port multi-port gallium nitride heads, can basically be charged, different protocols, different powers If you really encounter a problem, is it that the thread is too casual (more than a dozen pieces), or there is a foreign object in the opening Because the multi-protocol support line, the magically modified private protocol line, in addition to being compatible with the ordinary C port, also adds a private port, so it is very thin and easily interfered by foreign objects

Anonymous9127 May 28, 2025I don't have an A2C wire at home. This thing is 10 years ago and it is already outdated. If you have to use something 10 years ago to charge the current product, the power itself will not be reached, and the protocol will be even more incompatible. Still complaining here about "picking the charging head/cable"

Anonymous764 May 28, 2025The ipad pro 2021 can only be charged on one side now, has anyone encountered it?
-
Anonymous765 May 28, 2025There is a high probability that there is a problem with ATC lines, and many manufacturers have now magically modified it. Generally, there is nothing wrong with CC line

Anonymous46 May 28, 2025@ Poster "So this sentence PD is fine, but it actually excludes a lot" Huh? Huh? CC cables all support PD. For A2C, the general QC 5V 2.4 A are also compatible. If you go to the domestically modified A2C and say it is not compatible, it is a bit difficult to support it. Then no one can be compatible with it for you

Anonymous766 May 29, 2025There seems to be a design problem with the tail plug of my iPad Pro 2018. After using it for a long time, it is easy to plug it in without responding. I have to plug it in and unplug it several times each time...
