Is iMac 2017 the last generation of cheap iMac?

I feel that the price of the next generation will increase a lot. Do you want to bear with the 7th generation cpu? The next generation, removes the narrow chin bezel, upgrades the 9th generation cpu, starts directly at 5k 18,000, starts at 4k 12,000, removes the fused hard disk option, and the minimum standard configuration is 256g; Upgrade another graphics card and add 3000.

If the next generation is upgraded, there is a high possibility of a major upgrade. The iMac and iMac Pro may change molds at the same time, and the price will definitely not be too low. Refer to the new MBP, MBA and Mac mini. Of course, I was more afraid when I bought the iMac six months ago. Suddenly, the 8th generation u seems unlikely now. It is a bit like the iPad Pro. The new iPad Pro is too expensive. Is it still necessary to buy the old one?

@ Anonymous163 In fact, as long as a little, narrow bezel, is enough to explain to consumers; Regular CPU upgrades will be even better

@ Poster I guess the reason for not upgrading may also have something to do with iMac Pro. If you upgrade again, the gap with iMac Pro will be even smaller

I have already purchased the i7 7700K RP580 512SSD. Maybe you will say that the 7th generation U should be eliminated. After thinking about it, it is actually enough. In most cases, it is in a state of excess performance. It is enough for 5 years. The MAC PRO trash can I used before. The beggar version is quite easy to use with 64G memory and 6-core CPU. If the D300 graphics card could not drag the 5K monitor, I wouldn't be ready to switch to an iMac.

@ Anonymous3386 7700k is quite fast nothing wrong but I don't like that screen

@ Anonymous3386 isn't actually enough or not... I was afraid that something new would come out and I couldn't help but place an order hhhh

@ Anonymous1937 This depends on financial strength. If you have money, you can replace it every year

@ Anonymous1575 Not bad, the money to buy a 5K monitor alone is enough to buy a Mac.

    @ Anonymous3386 but iMac can't be a screen ah..

I'm waiting too... But when you say this, you are more worried about my wallet...

@ Anonymous3386 7700K It's no problem to fight for a few more years. Many of the pursuit of configuration is psychological. Very few of them can be used to achieve performance bottlenecks after buying them. I have seen many people buy them as decorations, and they only do all kinds of development. ide runs wildly + open more virtual machines to make the best use of everything
